Hey guys. I want to join a corp, but when I click to accept it tells me that I have to be in a station to join. The problem is that all the stations belong to the alliance the corp is in. This means as a neutral I can't dock and join. Is there a different way to join a corp and not have to be docked in a station? |

There has to be another way? The Corp i want to join belongs to an alliance that is always declaring war on them. I already died a few times this way. This time, i flew quick to Nullsec and now I can't join. No stations for like 22 jumps I can dock at. |

Go to nearest NPC station, dock and join, fly back.

Doesn't the message say you have to be in your pod or docked?
Just eject, see if it works and then board your ship again.

This only works if your pod is cloaked.

Isn't this what was called "pod express"? Been a while, forgotten most of that ancient mechanic
(Also, in case not a troll and legit question - no you can't do it that way - you need docking rights. Depending on where this mythical corp is located you need to get back to a dockable station. And here to hoping this is not another victim of the infamous recruitment scam.) |

No, its not a scam. There are just deep in space, never knew you couldn't dock at station in SOV space. Guess I have to fly back and try and find a neutral station. |

Once you join change your clone station to one out in null where your alliance is. Self destruct again and you'll pop up in there station.

i am remiss to die or pod myself. Like i said, the Corp i am joining always is getting declared war on, so there is always groups of people looking to gank solo ships heading into null space, so I don't really want to try and run that blockade. |

If you dont want to pod yourself youll have to fly to an NPC station prob in low or high sec. The easier option is to
Firstly warp to a safe. Im presuming your still in null
Eject from your ship. Im hoping your flying a shuttle or rookie ship Self destruct your pod
You will wake up in a NPC station. From there... Accept your application and now your in the corp or alliance you wanted to join. The station you self destructed to should have a cloning station. If this is the case change your station to your new options of your alliance stations. You may have to undock and dock again to update.
Undock and warp to a safe or planet in your pod. Self destruct your pod again.
BINGO!!! your now in null in your alliances home station.
PS out of curiosity which alliance are you joining
On the third day after your birth myself and my sister's will come to you and decide your fate.

Read the post directly above yours here.
1) Get podded where you are (or self-destrcut). You'll wake up in a station. 2) If that station does not have a medical bay, go to one that does. 3) Accept your corp invite. 4) Reset your clone respawn to one of the stations your new corp owns out in sov space from the medical bay. 5) Go out and get podded again (or self-destruct). 6) Wake up where you intended to be. 7) Buy a ship from the local market/contracts 8) Get on comms, listen to what they tell you. You're obviously going to need more help in null sec.
....
20) Profit!
I find that without a good mob to provide one for them, most people would have no mentality at all.

So once you join the corp how do you plan on getting to them? Why do you want to join this corp so badly if you are afraid to fly in their space? Why are they not helping you reach them? |

They probably have repeatedly, he's just too stubborn and wants a low effort solution. He'd rather remain logged off in space for 2 days than go 22 jumps just in case GD comes up with some workaround for his laziness.

You can only set a clone once to a station that isnt your "starter" station once a year now.
So you dock up somewhere, join their corp, set your clone to a station in their space that has an office belonging to the corp you're joining and selfdestruct your pod. But like I said; once a year only.
The alternative is to get an interceptor maxed out for inertia and fly there. Cost is about 25 mill per attempt. As soon as you get there, switch your medical clone and install a jumpclone for good measure.

While I know what you're meaning, it's a touch misleading. So, to get rid of the misconception for other people:
You can only set your clone to a /remote/ station (that isn't your starter station), once a year.
If you're in a station, you can change to it as much as you want.
