Ok I did look on the FAQ and in the forums for an answer to this question but I have yet to find it. If there is one somewhere and I missed it I apologize, but how do you log into the test server? Do you use the same password that you use for the main server? When ever I try and log into singularity using my TQ password it tells me i have used the wrong one. Do I need to do something else to get permission to use the test server?
Thanks

If your account is relatively new then the chances are you don't exist on that server yet, hence the message of wrong password.

I have the same issue, except my character is years old and I have never changed the password - it simply won't let me on (my other account works fine there though). Created a petition but was told that they don't support test server in that way . Anyone got any ideas?

Try to contact bug hunters on coldfronts 'eve-chaos' irc channel. Maybe it'll help, maybe not.

Best thing you can do atm: Wait for Kali. Very probably you will be able to login then. If not, you can ask Sharkbait about it.
Sisi is up again by the way (but nothing to test there...)

If your account was inactive or non-existant when CCP last mirrored SiSi (early July). You're stuck until the next mirror of SiSi. If that's not the case, and you still can't get in, you are probably still stuck until the next mirror.

If your account was inactive when they did the mirror (which is approx 4 months old, it seems), then that would explain why it won't let you on. Otherwise, your best guess is as good as mine. And yes, Maldon, your character(s) are too new to be on the test server. However, the next time they mirror it -- which I hope is sooner rather than later -- you will be on there.
edit: khralen beat me to it! -------------------------------------------

I wish to help testing the new fixes, but I can't get the test patch files downloaded. What is going on there?

Edited by: BBQ on 21/10/2006 19:09:55 A few things to remember about your TQ account and Sisi mirrors.
If you are new to eve and made your character after the last mirror you will not have a character on Sisi, even asking for account activation will not help in this as you physically wont exist on the test server.
If you pay every month by credit card and then cancel the account a few days later so in effect you manually paying monthly, your account will run out at the end of the month on Sisi because there is no way to extend your account past the month end
If you pay by time card, I believe that it will run out at the end of the timecard (the same as on TQ) but you cannot extend it so the account will time out.
If you pay by rolling credit card payment then your account will continue on Sisi without any interuption.
If you requested cancelation at some point and during that time they sync sisi with TQ your Sisi account will deactivate at the same time as on TQ. I have fallen fowl of this one currently and waiting for a TQ > Sisi mirror.
Basically, if you hav to do anything to keep playing eve on TQ then you will probably find your account running out on sisi at some point.
---
Doc, Sisi was (as of last night & have just checked it is) running the same build as TQ so there are no patches, you can use the same client for both TQ and Sisi. When they patch Sisi to Kali then you will need patches and a seperate install of eve. ----
God gave us a brain, he also gave us a voice.
Shame some people have yet to connect them.

Thank you. I'd really love to see the new hotfixes.
