Edited by: Samirol on 23/10/2006 09:15:51 At over 2800 posts, 100s of people view my posts a week. I am opening my sig space as a billboard for renters.
This is a great way to get your corp information out there, make a statement, or do a little attention whoring for yourself. For the cost of 5m/week, you can get your corp name out there. For your corporation, this means more people looking at what you have to offer. Most recruitment is restricted to the recruitment area of the forums or the recruitment channel ingame, but using my sig as a billboard, you reach out to a MUCH larger playerbase to advertise your wares, e-peen, or corporate recruitment.
Sig creation is also an option, with rates dependent on complexity. When you buy a sig, you get the first week free!
Any questions, comments, or flames, please put here or in my eve-mail box and I will do my best to answer them.

You could make a very nice sig , eye catching and all, for your recruitment and let Samirol use it, he posts a lot. Very interesting bussines proposal, although I have seen others. It would be a way for forum posters and people caucght with rl work and all to send out messages.

yeah, thats the idea. You reach a large audience for recruitment, or selling ships/mods.

This very thread itself onl advertises an elitistic mentality if you being a 'better poster' than the rest.
I for one wouldn't want to be associated with that kind of mentality.

not at all, i merely post a lot.
Would you prefer paying for space with someone that posts once a month or many times? Your message gets out more with the person that posts many times.

I prefer to keep my business associated with people I see as good representatives for my product.
You're not just an advertisementspace you know, you're a face for the products you advertise.
With that said, this "Hey, look, I spam so much that you can be seen by many" just doesn't hit the spot...

Well, all depends on the product or service of course. If I was selling say fart pillows or looking for new members for a Suicidal Killer Clown corp I could feel tempted to be associated to threads like "Pong vs. EvE - Reality Check".
Now, one could argue that a lot of your postings make a lot more sense than the above two examples, but it's also the less respectable ones a marketing director would have to consider before buying into a VIP.
As things are, thanks for the offer, hope you find some takers, and uh, sorry I got all the fart pillows I'm ever gonna need and I'm happy with my corp.
Fly far.
Edit: Fixed the URL. --

It depends what you are looking for. If your corp is easy going, enjoys a good laugh, then we can work something out.

Well feel free to do so, but why not leave Samirol to try out his idea without your baseless rhetoric. As an aside your lack of corp/alliance details and alt like name hardly breeds much support or validity for your opinion. _______

the board are not for spammers to just post blindly for people to look at their sig.
you all cry " No corperate ads in EVE" like*****e, pepsi ect, yet isnt this scheme just an ad campaign as well?
posting for the sake of advertisement is pretty lame. besides there is a corp recruitment area on this website. thats where you should go.
and really, if you see a spammer posting for the sake of a corp add, are you really gonna respoond to it more than a proper , concise recruitment post ?
-I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.-

It's not posting for the sake of advertising, he's gonna post anyway whether there's the ad or not, it's upto other people whether they want to invest in that. ------

Here's another idea: How about you offer to a builder - for a little fee of course - to hand out discount vouchers for new ships or modules to your victims?
Gosh I hope my corp command never finds this comment. But hey, maybe I'll prepare a little voucher myself for next time we shoot up a pirate, tehehe.

What a great idea (and you naysayers are just too quick to judge); I'm half-tempted to offer it, as well, but given my short time here, I don't think people would be so ready and willing to pay me. ----- Griffin -- 100,000 ISK ECM - Multispectral Jammer Is -- 20,000 ISK Standar Missile Launcher Is -- 10,000 ISK War target sobbing over losing a fight in his T2 fitted Battleship -- priceless |
