Lets hear them.
Heres my biggest one
So Stickybyte and I were going through hysera - tannolen
looking for other players and avoiding the anti pirate blobs that would show up trying to make the systems "safe" (but they would always refuse to go to tama to play with MDK) so anyways were are sitting at a gate to Onatah waiting for my scout to see if it is safe to jump when an MDK member enters the system.
I forget his name but he was -10 and had at 25mill bounty (most of them do except Ju'Co) but thats besides the point.
So we see him in a shuttle headed towards the gate we were on but we didn't open fire due to the time it would take to lock his pod down before the guns wtf pwned us. So we had let him pass.
About 20 minutes later it hit me. In corp chat we were talking about this guy in the shuttle when I shout "DARNIT THAT GUY WAS -10 why didn't we shoot HIM!!! GAAAAH"
And I realized then that I didn't notice him flashing red or black because our corp set MDK to -10 . . . darn I would've liked that bounty lol.

First time I forgot I was -5.0 and had so sentry support. Rifter go boom.
Thinking I had turned on my cloak on my Hound and got scramed by rats in a belt. Killed two but it was the third one that was scrambling me. No tank in a Hound. Hound go boom. (Luckily everything expensive survived).
Undocking in a hauler from Pator Tech School whose station model does not allow redocking without moving. Mangold pops up. Hoarder go boom.
Made a few bad calls along the way too, but more due to poor judgement than bad luck. I have had rather more good luck that bad, but then again I am a firm believer that you make your own luck.

Mine was disgraceful... sniping at a gate in one of my many past Megathrons, when I'd finished I warped back to my station.... but I used the wrong BM, so instead of insta-docking, I landed 30km from the station (fitted with sniping gear and no tank obviously) - so all it took was a little Inty say there to warp scramble me and let the sentries do the rest.... oops!
To add insult to injury, I lagged out and they got my pod - ARRGGHHHH!

Ah yes actually I have done this, happens when you keep two accounts in the same area, one who can go up to higsec one who can't

was in a gang, gang leader did not have insta in this system, but he was in a ceptor
i was in a tech2 fitted BS
i used the wrong insta
and landed on a gate with 6 ceptors
was forced to jump
other system had a small fleet camping on the system
really really sucked

Was in a gamg in empire with some alliance members (not corp mates) and had some maintenance drones repairing his mega, he had a auto lock on and shot me by mistake meaning concord destroyed his ship...
...and coz I was repairing him I was aiding a criminal meaning my raven got destroyed as well.

I was bored so I thought I'd go run the camps in pf-346 and fd-mlj and I jumped into an agony unleashed destroyer camp. Managed to cloak and sat there for a while, watching them own people who'd got trapped in their dictor bubble.
I was tired though and ended up jumping into Orvolle forgetting it was high sec.
- 80m isk recon cruiser, and -75m covert ops cloak.

Attacking a ship with a gang of about 5 when I was a noob.
Once the target ship got to about 1/2 structure the pilot ejected. At that very same moment I right clicked to approach just as the "board ship" option became availible ( I was 4km away ). I ended up boarding his ship and my gang killed me instead. The target pod warped to saefty right as I died in his ship.

Tech II light drones hurt don't they? Back when I was in VOID (RIP) some guy killed a crow (probably not you) that tried to gank his barge and forwarded the killmail via the alliance mailing list. Everyone had a good laugh.

Yarr that made me laugh about Ju'co
Not sure what mine would be, probably warping the support away from my Phoenix only to have an MC buzzard decloak and scramble me. Local more than doubled as they as started to jump in, meanwhile I'm locking the buzzard down. Just managed to kill it off as they started to land, and warped off in time - but certainly a lucky escape.

Dirty Mick was showing off his station-camping moros for me while I was in my shuttle (nano-raptor with tech II mwd).
I was showing off my leet locking time and had just fitted a webifier for..sordid purposes ahem, anyways I hit my mwd hotkey and realise that..."uups" after the refit thats where my webifier is.
I thus web the moros in my unarmed raptor and get wtfpwnt by the sentry turrets, go me.

Less than 24 hours later, due to a massive mapreading error, I'm in a 0.5 ssytem. it tanked most stuff well, but, with 7200m, to go, the inevitable happened.

Was huntin in Mara the other night in my Thorax testing a laser setup for the hell of it. When I made a fatal scanner reading error.....saw the Curse in the system but though I was jumpin a vexor. Get to said belt ..no Vexor , just a nifty little Curse about 32km from me (a dist which he closed uber fast ) and then my cap was gone in about 10seconds....Would not have fought a Curse willingly and I must admit it was my very 1st PVP encounter with one. Now I want one badly

Just fitted new cerberus worth like 400 mill or something , in came a outlaw in ferox im like woot , we start fight and im getting owned like nothing then i realised i forgot the em hardners lol .
oh and when i was outlaw i lost 2 vagabonds by jumping in hi sec =p but was back when they only costed 45 mill

Heh, now you mention it, I was playing once and recieved a phone call from Mrs Afterthought, but didn't mute my microphone (I was using skype at the time) and thus the CEO got to hear my half of the conversation with the beloved. So when I put my headphones back on, I got the sound of laughter, and "Je t'aime" playing down the line.

Well I'll be damned. Just to be fair I'll share one of my less proud moments. Back when I was a noob and not too clear on how the whole flagging/sec. status thing worked I came across a shuttle piloted by some guy with a 3mil (alot for me back then)isk bounty sitting by a busy gate in Rens.
Long story short, I figured I could take him. My thrasher completely vaporized within a single frame. The combined firepower of the gate guns and the 50 odd Concord BSs destroyed everyone of my mods and left sitting rather sheepish and confused in my pod.

Twas my second ever PVP, first being a gate camp. I was in a .4 with my brand new, oh so poorly fitted Prophecy, and had been playing tag with a couple of cruisers. I was a month old and had just under my first million SP, but I'd been avidly reading the forums here for PVP advice. The one piece I'd really taken to heart was instas and using the radial menus. Took it so well to heart that I insta'd to a gate and radialed jump and then noticed the words Global Criminal Countdown in the upper left hand corner of my window, noticed them just as I unclicked from jump. The next system was a .5 and I arrived cloaked with "less than 1 min" on the timer. Rather than sit cloaked and pray I get the genious idea to try and warp to the next planet. A few secconds and mabey 3 or four frames later I was feeling mighty stupid, in a pod.

Actually, wait a minute - my crow loss was almost rivalled by the first Taranis I tried to use in PVP. I figured that I wouldn't need a NOS and that I'd fit a small smartbomb for giggles. Of course the first day I used it I landed on a war target at a gate, activated all modules and got concordokkened. The Badger MK II was left relatively unscathed

I got drunk one day and found 2 frigs outside my station... I didn't have a fitted ship on hand so I jumped into a brand new raven I had in the hangar as a backup, threw in 5 small and 5 med drones, didn't even bother fitting anything... undocked and engaged. Sentries bbq'd me in like 60 seconds. I podded both of the frig pilots tho. After I sobered up, I realized I forgot about insurance.

After my very first bit of piracy ages ago I was on a high and looking around lowsec for more people to engage in my AF. Ended up finding a couple of guys mining in a belt engaged a vexor and it was going down quick suddenly I got hit really hard then got totally splattered, it was only then I realised I had wondered into a 0.5 systemà

I had just killed a thrasher and was sitting in a safe spot talking to some one in local.
I forgot I had just killed the thrasher and I wanted to leave the system to go hunting.
I warped to the gate for the next system and lucky me I used an insta. I jump through. I see no one in local so I warp to a safe spot to scan for named rats. As IĈm warping I look down at my shields, armor and then hull...
Woops! Lucky me and my Rifter made it out at half hull... Rifters can align and warp just as fast as shuttles with the right set up :)
I frapsed my burning Rifter just to remind my self... still got it some where.
Another time I saw a war target at a gate in a thrasher and I was like sweet easy kill... NOPE! guy killed me in like 3 valleys.
A few days ago after blowing some one up in a mining barge I warped away to escape the stabber friend he had with him(witch I wish I would of stayed and killed) and the thing I warped to? a Stargate and I was still global BUT! guns didnĈt shoot at me.. this has happened a few times for me and each time IĈm able to warp away.

Taking my first Eos into a fight, and thinking... yeah, I can tank that fully T2 and faction fitted Blasterthron and the sentries with no worries at all... while semi drunk.
...bugger.

Just took down a Cyclone (obviously poorly piloted) in a Vengeance, and autopiloted to the next system...
Criminally flagged
I managed to warp to a belt but I forgot to turn autopilot off... straight back to the sentries and this time I didn't make it out

He'd had a fair bit to drink - strangely enough though, he survived for the 30 minutes it took him to wake up.

Dumbest thing I ever did was try to move my Fenrir through Geminate to the Ratel Outpost with only 2 BS's as escort and a newb as scout. Got to the destination system, no-one in sight at the gate, start to align and a cloaked inty pops up scrams me and calls in 15 guys from both Roadkill and Smash. They did take to long to waste me, my 1.4 bil isk cargo and my escort.

Not a pirate story, but I was in my shiny new anathema reporting on Turbulent corp coming and going from their office. Forgot that coming through a nearby moon on warpin decloaked me, so I was there for all to see.
Sat there watching them play outside the undock point in a decloaked ship for 10 minutes until Damien finally comes our of warp right on top of me in an interceptor...
"WTF, He cant have seen me! How!!??"
..."DOH!"
Oh well. The same moon killed their scout in a falcon as it warped to a POS a few days later.

Getting insanely drunk and taking my nightmare on a treck to kill the alliance we were fighting in their home system. corp mates scrammed me to stop me going cos they knew how drunk i was so put my 1.5bil tank in the cargo hold and filled my lows with stabs to get away from my corp's ceptors trying to help me. Then after losing my way trying to go into high sec to take out concord.
Nightmare ship - 1bil
Fittings - 2.5bil
implants - 750mil
15 corp mates and allies scrambling u to stop u losing it all - priceless
Yup think that ranks quite high on my stupid things i've done

Went into bosena for a little fun. I enegaged a raven with my blasterthron and won. i was heaaded back to heild to jump on in and dock up but hit the wrong insta (not knowing) i got to gate never noticed it was teonsude.....jumped straight in. concord did the rest.

happily minin in 0.0 when i noticed a pirate mega in local, legged straight to station where i decided to play with sed pirate, docked... undocked... he locks... dock. repeat a few times then decide as he cant get me ill release drones. he fires on one without me knowin they attack him cant dock again, he bounces me from station and my mega goes down.
lesson learnt there

went to a corp ****up at our old ceo's place... got very drunk so we decided to gate camp in Mara in our ravens... theres be shooting down a cruiser with sentries hammering into me...
CEO tells me a need to align to warp out as shields are getting low, i'm like well i am aligned to warp look... Shortly followed was a lot of laughting as they all sat and looked at the gate i was aligned to...oppssss mistook it for a planet...
as so newly purchased deimos with fraction fittings... ceo was being taken out in his AF by an inty so in i warps thinking i would be safe from the 2 scorps and 3 ravens 80km away... only to find out i had every one of them lock me and fire T2 cruise... safe to say it wasnt a pretty sight... i didnt even get to kill the inty lmao.... lucky no more Noobing for me...
