I'm not sure how well this will be received here, but I want to get more awareness, so here goes nothing.
Dust 514 will be running an Event from the 9th through the 16th where Faction Warfare matches will award 50% more LP, and each completed match will give you 50,000 ISK that will be awarded in a combined pool at the end of the event.
I posted the following on the Dust 514 forums this afternoon:
Mobius Wyvern wrote:A group of my friends and I are going to try and set up for a joint-stream during the Event this week to show FW combat from both sides and the real-time interaction between both games. We'll be playing for the Gallente since that's who the majority of us fight for normally.
This is partly inspired by hearing about EVE players who went to this year's FanFest and were surprised to hear Dust was still around and hanging on. I want to show them and CCP what we can do in this game and the dedication of those of us who remain. Right now you can hopefully count on seeing some of the following familiar faces:
Cat Merc Arkena Wyrnspire Sgt Kirk Zaria Min Dier True Adamance Aeon Amadi Myself (in EVE)
We're working on putting together enough Gallente FW pilots in space to have a small fleet to provide OBs and defense for the OB ships. Some of us will be active in the Gallente Militia channel and in Lucent Echelon.
The current plan is for me to broadcast EVE while Arkena broadcasts Dust and then combine the two via Multi-Twitch.
To anyone who can stream Dust, let's try and and get as many up as possible for each faction.
To those Negative Feedback guys that are cool enough to keep running Caldari and giving the Gallente good fights, keep it up! Let's try and bolster those numbers and get more LP for all of us.
I took a long break from this game, but after some thought I'm back and I'm determined to see it soldier on. I've been fairly bitter and combative with CCP on these forums before that break, and I apologize for that.
I may not know what CCP has planned for the future of this game, but while Dust 514 is still here and people are still playing it, I want to try and recapture the old days where we all just had fun, even if it's only for a week. Let's log in and just have some good fights, and let everyone else out there see us doing that in real time.
Currently I'm trying to get in contact with Corporations and Alliances who are active in Faction Warfare, because Dust players achieving victory on planets in an FW system acts as a multiplier on how fast the system can be captured. With as many Dust players as possible running FW matches, it should be possible for Empires who currently own little territory to get some systems back and make a large amount of LP while doing so.
So far I've been getting quite a few forum responses and some messages from members of FW groups in both games saying they're up for it, but I wanted to get the word out to as many people as possible.
The current plan is for me to be streaming EVE Online on my Twitch channel while Aeon Amadi streams Dust 514 on his channel, and then combine the two via MultiTwitch so you can watch both side by side in real time. The day will be Friday of this week, and we're still working on what time we'll be streaming. I'll either update this thread or post a new one when I have more information.
To anyone who reads this, thank you for your time, and if you find this intriguing, please tell your friends!

I'm hoping this can be a way to generate some much needed content for both sides of Faction Warfare.

Looking forward to it. Never tried Dust, but this sounds like it could be neat if pulled off well.
Good luck
