Ive recently installed eve online  , however when i run eve and get to the log in screen it fails to load, staying on a blank box and then crashing displaying a no signal screen and turning my monitor off.
Ive looked through the known issues and work arounds but havent been able to find anything similar  .
Anyone have any ideas?

Just a guess, but it sounds like your GFX card is overheating. Have you tried running any other games? Do you get the same problem?

Hello thanks for your reply, i still play half life fine ummm and i used to play eve fine a year ago and my hardware is still the same as it was then.

gfx drivers problem?
maybe EVE is trying to run in a resolution that is not supported by your monitor?

tried it in both 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768 neither made a difference, still the same no signal crash. heres my system stats...
1.92 amd athlon
512mb ram
radeon 9200 se

a friend of mine had the same problem with a simialr setup, especially the gfx card (same as yours)
he put a different gfx card in and it worked, we tried everything else we could think of and nothing would make it work

Maybe the operating system you use ? cause eve no longer suports certan op systems anymore don't it ?

hmm... FYI, the latest catalyst drivers do not support the ati 9250 cards and lower any longer afaik.
