I havn't gotten on the server so could someone tell me how much armor is boosted to each ship type? I don't really know how all this works. And i also heard plates and extenders are even giving a higher boost.

No because tankability hasn't changed, only the buffer of hp.

.... More Hp = Longer lasting ships = More time to pop rat before it pops you = change in NPCing.

Well, think about passive shield tanking, the new caldari ship will well have a HUGE passive tanking ability, I'd say about 20% more then previous atleast.

...on the other hand using a banana might be a viable alternative.

Same weapon damage than before (or worse in some scenarios) + 50% boost in NPC HP = takes XX% longer to complete the mission than before (depending on the NPC's shield and structure that wasn't boosted).
And running missions in tier 2 battleships for example puts you in worse situation than before, theoretically. (tier 2 BS got 25% HP boost, so NPC's are way more stronger compared to your ship than before).
Just random carebear ranting here, nothing to be taken seriously :)
Altho, this could have been the plan of the Dev team, discourage mission running and the possible damage it has affected to the economy?

They are matching the ship recharge rate, yes. So recharge rate/second before and after changes are the same for ships with no shield extenders.
But when you start adding shield extenders, each one gives you 50% more hp than before. That is why the passive tanking will increase.

wrong info,tech1 ships will boost 50% ,tech2 ships will boost 25%.tier 2 ships are(raven,mega,apoc ,tempest) tech 1 ships and they will get 50% hp boost

Personally i've always though passive tanking should get a bit of a boost since active shield tanking is so cap ineffcient compared to active armor tanking.. Plus nearly all ships have that big gaping 0% em resist to shields and generally poor resists to thermal.. This should even the field a bit but maybe some ships will be a bit too uber after Kali.. ( Ferox/Drake.. )
