Just finished building my new machine last night. Tried to log in and the server was down.
I'm running the new ASUS Wi-Fi Mobo, with the X6800 Duo Core Extreme, 2Gig of Ram and the 7950GX2 graphics. I'll post here tonight my experience. I'm hoping it's a good one.

Yet installed two 7600GT in Sly mode, going to test it now..
Anyone know the best rendering mode for a game like Eve?
Auto-Select* Alternate frame rendering Split frame rendering Alternate frame rendering 2** Single-GPU rendering SLI Antialiasing

dps? You mean fps? :)
Anyway, the reason why multi-gpu computers are slower than single-gpu is that they require cpu-time to run those algorithms that make SLI/x-fire working. Whilst Eve is almost 100% cpu-bound on any modern computer this means less CPU-time to the actual game which results in lower FPS.

SLI doesn't work properly with EVE due to the way it's rendered. AFAIK, only Crossfire shows real improvements. --- Cache Clearer |

To be honest I found that SLI Antialiasing was the best of the SLI modes for me. The single GPU can render the graphics without difficulty, and then the 8x AA of the other GPU just made the graphics look even better. I get an average of 70fps with that setup.
