Hi, what do you guys think would be better on Rupture for lvl 2 missions? Atrilety or autocanons ? I`d kinda like it to be in the range and foght form the range, and not to get too close, but then again, there are all kinda fast and little ships in L2 missions, that like to get up close.

Depends on your playstyle really. Arty and Autos warrent different setups, so play with each and just choose which you like better . Only real difference I can see if that if you use arty, just make sure you have a means to keep distance and stay in your optimal range (AB).

Try both. If you are like me, you will start using artillery because moving around in missions take so much time. Missions are faster with artillery, despite their lower dps.
Oh, and dont forget to put some assault launchers on it as well to help your drones kill off the ones that get under your guns.

Hmm, i thought that artilary where the dmg dealer cannons (rara shots with long range), while autocanons were the short range fast hitting low dmg guns.

Well, it depends on what you want. If you want big chunks of damage, then you want artillery. If you want small chunks of damage very often, then you want autocannons.
The average dps (damage per second) is higher with autocannons though, but then you have to spend time to get in range for every damn target. I found it very annoying. :)

try both, see what works more fun on ship you are flying, see what differences are and use either one depending on mission might be nice too :)

I found that the Rupture is nimble enough to do well with autocannons; level 2s are mostly frigates so the enemy comes to you anyway. Once you step up to a battlecruiser and level 3's, you'll probably be happier with artillery.

Artillery for missions, no question.
You may have to fit 650's until you have enough skill to fit 720's without too much trouble, but arty is the way to go.
Just be sure you keep moving during missions, flying away from the group you're taking on (kiting). Standing still in a Matari ship is like asking to lose it. J.A.F.O.

You want 650mm ...
Fit 1 webber and 1 good tracking computer also. If your drone skills are at least average (i.e. can use 5 light drones), you should have no problems at all.

for lvl2 missions, autocannons are perfectly fine - and faster; you'll be dealing with small, close-range fry most (all?) of the time. and they have less of a fitting appetite.

Personally I used an AC Rupture when I was running lvl 2s (or a Claw, but that's another story).
My setup was:
Highs: 3 x 425mm ac, 1 x medium nos, 2 x Assault launchers Meds: 10MN Afterburner II, Webber, Target painter Lows: Medium armour rep II, Active Thermal, Kinetic, and Explosive hardners (1 each), and a Plate (size to fit teh rest of the setup)
This setup could solo all lvl 2 missions. Get to about 5k from a frigate, web, orbit and pwn. Same for Cruisers, but you can cut the range down so you get hit less, and hit for more damage.
I'm sure arty works fine as well, I just got on beter killing frigates with an AC setup.

Problem with autocannons in missions is you tend to run out of ammo.....so arties may be better

4 x 220mm autocannons 1 x Med Nos 1 x Assault launcher
1 x Burner 2 x web
2 x EANM 1 x Med Rep 1 x DC
5 x Hobgobs
breezes through Lvl 2s. More time spent picking up loot.

Level 2 missions arent even a challenge. Level 3 gets harder, but more profitable. Level 4 are so time consuming that they are boring.

Depends on one thing, and one thing alone.... do you want to loot? IF you want the loot, use autocannons, is much much faster that way.

I'd never use arty's on a Rupture, pvE or PvP. The rupture is one of the last ships (scale wise) to be able to make use of that 'minnnie advantage' of speed. With average skills you can gt it to move at 700m/s with a AB no problem. Thsi sort of speed and manouverability suits autocannons down to the ground. I've seen peopel sugest using 650's adna webber.... total waste of time imho. if youa re going to get inside 10km to web them, you may as well take the higher DoT / Tracking weapon (220's)
L2 Mission Rupture setup: 4x 220mm AC's (best you can afford (to lose!)) Scouts are the ultimate here, before tech-2 guns, but cost a fortune.... 1x Rocket Launcher 1x Med Nos
AB (named or tech 2) Web Capacitor Recharger
Med Armour Repair unit 800mm Plate Explosive hardener Eanm Damage Control Unit
This fits easily, with poor skills (sub 1 mil Sp). I am 4pg short or fittig a assault launcher instead of that rocket launcher, but as it'll orbit at 3.5km happily, with Ab runnign IIRC, a rocket launcher does nice dps.
This also has the advantage of ratting happily in 0.2 space :) For pvp swap that cap recharger fro a 7.5km / 20km scram and you are sorted.
