I just completed this mission and I feel completely cheeted. First and foremost by the faction standing increase. I recieved an increase of 0.07, so i checked the transaction and the mission was worth only 1.2%!?!? Whats the deal with that, I've done courier missions worth more than that. Does that seem correct?
Now lets talk about rewards/loot. I received:
- Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Lancer' G2-Gamma (2m ISK) for the mission reward - Hardwiring - Zainou 'Deadeye' ZGA100 (2m ISK) - Chapel - Hardwiring - Inherent Implants 'Noble' ZET200 (30k ISK) - Chapel
I know loot is random, but after getting crap for standing this made me feel worse.
One last question: Since the first 9 missions do not increase faction, do they count towards the 16 needed for the next faction mission?

1.2% sounds pretty low indeed. I just checked and I got 5.75% for my last Angel Strike Level 3 (10 of 10).
I'm however pretty sure it does not count towards your next storyline - as it is a storyline itself. However - 3 implants from a storyline is _not_ bad. Ive been given better rewards for it then you got though. some +3 and a +5% hybrid hardwiring last time if Im not misstaken. Besides if you pop the big spawns in the last mission the bounty is great - for a level 3.

My friend got the 3% missile accuracy hardwiring on step 3, sold it for 60 mil at the time. He wasn't able to handle the harder steps at the time though. In any case I've been wishing to get this mission for months, never have. Gotten billions of ISK worth of level 3 missions and never done it.

I've run a lot of time Angel & Gurristas Strike in the past, and the standing gains were very good. But since 3 weeks, all version of Angel/Gurristas strike are bugged as hell. Corp standing gains from part 2 to 10 are divided per 8-10, faction standing from part 10 gain's divided per 5 ( less standing gain than a "Transaction data delivery", what a joke ), rewards from part 2 to 9 are divided per 6-7, date expiration of all parts's always the same, agent chatbox freeze each time when you valid the mission ( must click 2 times on validation to obtain rewards ), etc etc, BUG, BUG and BUG... The only part who seems to run correctky is the part 1. 2 Bug reports bug made 2 weeks ago : nothing change ( 1 angel & 1 guristas version ).2 petitions made : "anything to do" (...). I've 2 another Guristas version to run now, and i'm very unhappy to see that's always broken. Well CCP, now PLEASE FIX.

Edited by: Vasiliyan on 02/11/2006 13:49:37 Last week I got a +3 from the chapel, a +5% projectile gunnery implant, and a +3 dropped from one of the named NPCs in an early stage of the sequence. The standing was only 1.2% as you've seen :(
I can confirm the bugs spotted by the above poster (agent stuck, low standing etc)

Yeah, i've a lot of screenshots who prove all of those **** bugs. But now you can't do another bug report 'cause : "We are currently not accepting bugreports while we stabilise the new Kali build on Sisi. We will reactivate this page shortly. Please keep a note of any issues you find and submit the bugreports then if they havent been resolved". Doing a petition is useless, 'cause GM don't want to reimburse rewards&standings... But when you're petitioning, if ONE GM, ONE time, take 2 minutes to look at the journal AND the briefing mission, he'll see that the expiration dates are NOT the same between journal and briefing BEFORE running mission, and see in the journal that all expiration dates are the same for all the 10 parts. Not so hard to see those bugs i believe! So, if a Dev take a look here, please fix. Thx in advance & sry for my english.

The GM's or Devs rather are probably aware of this bug, as well as many others. You also have to remember that the agent system is changing some with Kali , so correcting the bugs you mention are probably slated as fixed when Kali hits, thus wasting time to fix it now.

Hummm.
Hate to say it, but it does look like you got screwed a bit on this one. I did this mission line recenlty and got much better rewards, including a mining implant with a market value of over 30m isk and another one with bonuses to armor repair (YEA! i fly amarr ships). It just kind of looks like the random loot generator left coal in your stocking. Chin up. You never know when a local hull cargo mod will drop. I got one on the very first level 3 that I did. Imaagine my surpise when they all didn't pay off like that.

Recently : when exactly? After october 15, all versions were bugged. We're not talking about loot on this mission, Angel/Guristas Strike part10 give good loot each time from the chapel/other final structure ( and sometimes from one of the BS ). I've made 2 Guristas strike part 10 ( vs serpentis ) yesterday, and 8 Angel or Guristas version before, so... The biggest issue are about the standing gain and the timer ( for expiration to accept all the parts ), very easy to check this point... At this time, you loose ( or "no gain" ) 5%faction standing gain and 15-20% from corp ( depend the corp ) per storyline ( and i've made 4 of those missions bugged as hell last 3 weeks; 4x5% faction standing not gain with 1 faction, imagine the time you can loose...): very funny... But just a point : IF GM's are aware, i don't understand petition's reply, really ( from 2 of them )...

I just did the full angel strike mission line last night, and I must say that I was rather disappointed in it as well, seeing as how it took something like 5+ hours to complete, and all I got was 4 skill hardwirings and a small faction increase near the end. The line definitely needs some tuning.
And don't even get me started on getting Miner I's as time bonus rewards twice. ----- Lighten up a little bit. It's only the end of the world. |
