I was just wondering if there is such a list. It occurs to me that just a few players are behind every big initiative (Big Corps, Funds, EGSE etc.) Maybe it's time to "expose" them..:-)

Edited by: Dark Shikari on 06/11/2006 17:35:48 Come on I'm not that rich, there are probably 2000 people with more ISK than me. My net worth is less than 40 billion... there must be like 500 BPOs in EVE worth more than that individually!
You forgot Femintaki and EMFI, tbh

Smart thinking.

Wealth:
Khatred Naal Morno Gavin Kineli (+ special price for biggest ego ;))
My guess is that you dont need to apply for the top 100 if you have a net worth below 250b,

Add Bertie also even if he hasnt played for 10 months.
If people are mentioning Dark Shikari than I guess I count (couldnt help myself).
The interesting part would be seperating the people who are leaders/figureheads for wealthy corps and actually single players who own all their wealth for themselves.

I agree, it doesnt really count ie to call EMFi the most wealthy when it may be 90%+ of his wealth belonging to other people (just a random figure, i don't know his real personal wealth).
My personal wealth in funds and assets (not counting any public funds etc) I would estimate in the range of 45-65b (depending on how much a few of my pritty assets sold for)

He actually has just a few billion IIRC... not much at all.

I would argue that the most influential players are not really the richest players but rather those that can change the shape of the Eve universe based on their decisions or orders.
From my personal experience it would have to be:
Politically: Sir Molle Blacklight Galavet
Cyvok
Count Tasessine Serenity Steele
Forum whoring, whining and just being the most vocal Dark Shikari Hippoking (although he has been absent of late)
General Eve Services Chribba (for his empire of eve sites and tools that REALLY make a difference) Joshua Fioritan - the alliance map
This is biased towards my own experience and entirely excludes any northern corps as I have no experience with them. It also is based on my personal dealings only.

I own all my wealth myself
But tbh I doubt I could make much of a difference if I went on a Veld purchase spree. Sure you could affect the market if you spent billions on it but imo the ones moving the game in any direction is more likely to be some sort of leader rather than the average wealthy pilot.
Altho it would be interesting to get some official CCP numbers on the average wallet amount and some cool percentage stats on like ships, POS, outposts on corps/alliances.
