Same, no disconnects this evening, but quite a bit of lag in Jerma/Bika area. Oh well, better than no connection I guess.

I got a reply on my petitions (both). They admitted there was someting wrong with the London connection to Amsterdam...and if I could make more PingPlotter-screenshots....While doing so I noticed some red-bars (the same earlier shown)..BUT, the odd thing: no disconnections anymore this evening!..both accounts (and different PC's) are running EVE just fine..
I really hope it is solved now (what ever it was).

Well, my dissconetions have dropped in number, but i still had huge lag spikes that last upto 20 minutes in Kusomononon or somthing, and im being serious anywhere from 5-20 minutes i will just be flying even though rats etc are shooting me, then all of a sudden it might load abit of damage and if im lucky it catchs up, and im usually almost dead, ive given up on my agent in Kusomonon or whatever its called due to this, is this PingPlotter thing free to download?

No disconnects, but more lag (and a few hang ups). Well, 'more', just as much as before the disconnects.

I had no d/c's last night either so maybe theyre taking action from "behind the scenes".
However its still rather annoying me that theres never any reply here.
Theres nothing more annoying then feeling nobody is giving a ..well a hoot.

Its just frustrating to be kicked off every 10-20 minutes or so cant really get things done .Ill try again tommorrow I hope they can fix this i have dsl and a wireless d-link.

yesterday i had no disconnects, only huge lag =]
i did run pingplotter too, and it showed some packet loss and red bars, but NO disconnects
i will monitor it again this evening :)

Had only one disconnection last night (really late) and also lag spikes.

This was a major issue 6 months ago and continued roughly for 2 months, I stopped playing this game after 2 month for 2 months and they still are having this issue.

only some laggy moments, but dont know if its part of the same problem or just normal.

Seems the route (well for me at least) has changed. Too lazy to put a pingplotter screen shot up, maybe later.
(For now, i try to enjoy the stable connection...)

for the last two days Ive been getting disconnected by the game in a much simular fasion as everyone else who has posted. I have the added displeasure of having my computer shut down/restart about 50% of the time also. is this something new or are others having this problem too?

Things were going mostly okay for me for the last couple of weeks, as long as I didn't try to play on Sundays, when everyone and their pet drone are logged in.
Until this wee little patch came out and I'm getting Connection to server lost again at really inconvenient times (like opening my wallet or eve-mail). I daren't even try to run missions now, for fear of losing ships because my connection to the server-that-supposed-to-be-fixed-with-more-connections decided to lose my connection |

I've been having this issue since sometime back in september. Some nights everything is fine, others i get dropped 3-4 times per hour.
I'm in Virginia USA on Verizon ADSL.

Everything is fine here (dutch Planet Internet ADSL) now. Route has changed and the crappy router isn't on the route no more. Also route is now only 7 hops long instead of 12.

Im playing from New Zealand and since about a month ago I started getting disconnects and losing lots T2 drones.
Have not played all week, I log on and lose connection FOUR times in 1/2 hr!!
No-one else in my corp is experiencing this problem so until I read this post I thought it was just me, I guess I feel a little better, but at your expense guys.
I can't do much at the moment except sit in the station and check prices.
I may take another week off after setting another long skill as it is no fun at all now and CCP is still taking my money...for now.

i am from germany and have the same probleme. i get randomly disconnected, mostley more then 4 times an hour.
ping plotter shows me that i am routed over london it jumps between 4.68.116.75, 4.68.116.139 and 4.68.116.11 ae-0-55.gar1.London1.Level3.net maybe there is the faulty router located.
for me eve is unplayable since the second of november....

Me too! 5 disconnects in one hour. Now, can't get back in at all. After character selection it crashes -- message reads: ""Transport Reader blew up. Non-standard error." What?? It started last night. I hit about 2 crashes in an hour. Today - it's impossible to play. Hey, CCP, a little help here?

It must be a routing issue from non-UK ISPs. I've had no disconnects at all, and at the weekend I was logged in for over 14 hours on Saturday and Sunday. I'm with Plus.net in the UK, less than 10 hops between my router and CCP's IP.

Speaking as someone who has for the last 25 years written massive OLTP apps for financial institutions, Eve seems to be pretty good as far as uptime goes - especially when you consider the number of simultaneous users - and how fast they get it back up when it does go down.
It's impressive. Very impressive.

This problem isnt going away, and if its not fixed soon i see no reason to keep paying for a game that I cant play.
Just tonight I sat in a POS for about 2-3hrs w/o getting dropped waiting to put up a cyno for some1. Get finished with that, join a gang to kill some hostiles. I have a corpmate engaging the guy im sitting there cloaked ready for my corpmate to get some points on him so i can uncloak and jam him. He engages, I hit the cloak button....stays red and blinking...click lock, timer runs down but never locks...then BAM I'm looking at "CONNECTION LOST"...log back on to find my corpmate in a pod.
I cant believe the timing of this, its utter crap...then after I log back on, 5 mins later i get dropped again.
Like i said this needs to be fixed, ive been putting up with this crap since sometime in September, if its not fixed soon i see no point to keep playing when my own corpmates cant even count on me to be there cuz I get dropped.
