Carthum Research (CARR) - A 0.0 based production, mission, ratting and sometimes PvP corp based in Curse
Carthum Research (CARR) is recruiting. CARR is a new corporation with operations based in central Curse, in and around HLW-HP. IIRC, we are 13 jumps from 0.5 Empire through Sendaya/Doril. CARR is a small corp (currently 4 chars) and plans to stay that way for the forseeable future. CARR was created to address the lack of ship production in central Curse resulting from the political changes over the last few months (and to try and make lot's of ISK doing so).
CARR is independent, but is closely affiliated with Coreli Corp (CRII) and is a member of the Corelum Syndicate alliance. For those pilots not familiar with Coreli, that means CARR is affiliated with a pirate corporation and a member of a criminal alliance. We are all former members of Coreli that wanted to try something different.
We are currently looking for 2 or 3 pilots that have a wide range of interests that match our own. We like to do a bit of everything and want to add some people who think the same way. However, CARR is first and foremost a T1 ship production corporation.
CARR's requirements are:
- An interest in T1 ship production and doing what is needed to support production, be it hauling, researching, building, refining, mining, etc. We don't care if you haven't got a lot of experience in production, but we do expect that you have some skills that can immediately help the corp. Note that mining might be useful in the future, but we currently don't do ANY 0.0 mining.
- Self-sufficient pilots with at least 10 million skill points. 0.0 experience is desirable, but not required. We can show you the ropes if this is your first foray into 0.0 space. Revenue generating options in Curse include missions, ratting, PvP and general trade. There are multiple Q20 L3/4 Angel Cartel agents within our normal area of operations. Rats are Angels.
- North American timezone pilots only.
- Mature pilots. We are setting up a business. We want professionals with integrity that honour agreements. We want people that know it's a game. If you smack-talk or like to insult Tuxford's intelligence on the forums, we're not interested in your services.
- Pilots that don't mind solo or small group play, because with a small corp, sometimes you will be the only person online.
- Voice interview before acceptance (at least one).
- Highly desirable skills that will also make life in Curse and CARR easier for you - Inty, Covert Ops, Recon, Transports, Carrier, Cloaking
What can CARR offer you ?
- Access to 0.0 space. We have good relations with many of the denizens of Curse through the Corelum Syndicate alliance. We also have plenty of people to shoot at and who will gladly attempt to pod you in return. Curse is not controlled by any major alliance, but neither is it complete suicide to live there. We can provide BMs for Curse, Derelik and some other connected regions.
- A laid back atmosphere, but pursuit of a goal. We're looking for pilots who play regularly, but RL > Eve. Personally, I actively play 1-2 hours a day, but typically I'm logged in for more than that. I have a wife and 2 kids under the age of 3, so I fully understand RL commitments.
- Future profit sharing. The intent is to start sharing profits between corp members once revenues begin to exceed investments. Did I mention you can sell a Raven for 125 million ISK or more in Curse ? We sell shuttles for 80,000 ISK (lot's of them).
- The chance to get into a new corp and help build something.
- If you can bring BPOs or other significant assets to the corporation, we do not expect you to make them available to the corp. Probationary periods should do both ways. CARR is operating more like a partnership and we think we'll keep it that way.

There are of course (drunk) people in alliance chat you can poke/play/murder around with ^_^
Corelum can also aid with getting expensive stuff past the chokepoint.

Daily bumpage and an update. We've dropped the SP requirements to 5mil. We're more interested in capability than SP, but you need sufficient skills to be able to live comfortably in 0.0.
