Would be useful for clearing out some dead sticks, but woe betide any corp that goes inactive for a couple days.

You must be poor if the idea of spending any time at all to clear up dead wood makes you ornery.

Considering the typical large stick goes for 200 million a pop. Average corp abandons 1 to 3 large sticks per wormhole.
600 million for clicking 1 button and waiting in a 500,000 cheap hauler.
I can't think of a lazier way to make isk.
To the op. I don't know.
Yaay!!!!

It was confirmed in the features and ideas forum that none of the upcoming structure changes will be implemented in WH space until after a year or 2 'break in' period in k-space. Once all the bugs are ironed out 'then we will eventually get to fixing wh structures'.

Once the new structures are implementd the old poses will be decommissioned by ccp. I never read about wormholes being excluded from this. |

New structures will use new mechanics, existing POSes will use old mechanics, and eventually be phased out.

Regarding the "...and eventually be phased out." We have heavy ISK investments in our POS's and their various components. What is the reimbursement plan for these phase outs? |

exsisitng poses anchroed and online wont be deleted i assume. but these offline yes. probably they delete poses from markets and contracts plus removing bbpc from data site. what would like to happen?
probably we would be reimbursed with isk or our exsisting towers get replaced with citadels and all stuff in out pos will be moved into citadel. so ccp that way dont need reimburse anything as ships wiould be anchored on citadel items moved into cargo hold of citadel.

The exact phase out hasn't been decided yet as this could be many many releases away. There may not be a replacement or reimbursement, simple discontinue new POS manufacturing and wait for the old ones to be taken down or destroyed by players. If new structures are significantly better than POSes in any way, POSes will quickly be abandoned in favor of structures that can be anchored anywhere and offer significantly greater customization and bonuses.

I never did it, but if they permit reprocessing of them to get the mins back, that might work (vs a pure rebate of cost).
Not doing any reimbursement would be pretty bad. The faction ones... Fine can take a loss on it, but the regulars....

Well, there is a plan. Taken from "Back into the Structure"
"Transition plan
It is obvious such changes will not come in one release, nor that we are going to alter or remove existing structures without prior and sufficient warning.
As such our plan is to: GÇó Progressively cut functionalities from existing structures. This would match new structures arrival that provide an overlapping gameplay. For instance, deploying the new Assembly Arrays would cause existing Starbases and Outposts to lose their manufacturing bonuses at first, then their manufacturing capability. GÇó Give ample time for players to evacuate their assets from existing structures and adapt to the changes."
Somehow I read into this that the POSes will be removed. But now I see this could also mean that they simply remain floating in space as wothless chunks of metal until taken down or shot.
However, I would like to point out that the new structures will in no way significantly better than the old ones as long as the old ones aren't nerfed because they severely lack in AFK defense.

Stockpile the old POS's as Anti-Citadel-Staging Posts
They are immune to the Entosis link, can shoot back and if you are doing the invading, knowing a Citadels invulnerability time period will have just the right amount of Strontium. There is the added defensive bonus troll of knowing that along with the Entosis support PVP fleet they still have to bring the old structure grinding ships.
I know the market says they are worth around 1.5 Billion but as you will not be reimbursed by CCP I will be looking to buy old Domination, Dark-Blood and Dread towers for around 300 mill - about the ISK value when reprocessed.

"Progressively removing functionalities until new structures arrive to replace them" This really means - you MUST keep your POS until we make the replacement structures by which time it is guaranteed to be worthless

Except that if that would become possible, POS prices would immediately hit rock bottom because the market would be flooded with thousands of salvaged towers.
