ok had a go with 3 of the 4 new bs(cant fly amar) and its left me wondering how devs come up with how much grid/cpu they give each ship, because after finding really good fittings for the rokh and the mael i had a go at fitting a hype and well it kind of sucks
just want to point out the mael and rokh set ups are just to point out easy fitting needs so no need to flame me for them, also both rokh and mael have a pdu in a low boosts grid, but the reason i put them there was simply i already had 3 damage mods and a damage control so ran out of things to put there
rokh fitting = 8xneutron 2 1x x-large shield 1xem active hard 2xinvu field 1x20k scram 1x100min mwd 3xdamage mods 1xdamage control 1xpdu2 2xheavy web drones
mael fitting= 8x1400's 1x x-large booster 1xem hard 2xinvu fields 1xheavy cap injector 1x 100min mwd 3x damage mods 1xdamage control 1xpdu2
hype 8xELECTRON 2 1xmwd 1xheavy cap injector 1x20k scram 2xweb(i wanted to put 1 web 1xtracking comp but ran out of cpu, a second web is all i can fit in the 5th mid) 2xlarge t2 reps 3xactive hards 1xeanm 2
now the thing is im a bit lost as to why the mael and rokh get to fit there best weapons and a full tank and yet fitting the hype with its lowest grade weapons and a basic blaster fitting leaves me with 5 cpu left
if the devs are leaving the hype gimped to stop it overpowering the mega as a blaster ship, i really dont get it as the rokh pwns them both(15km optimal with null and cal bs 3, and yes it hits cruisers and above np)

You have absolutely no idea what you are doing here or what you are talking about, do you?
In an attempt to prevent further posts like this, let me spell it out for you:
The Rokh is a railgun ship. Its bonuses speak against using blasters. Its stats speak against using blasters. It is quite possibly one of the worst blaster ships with a hybrid bonus in the entire game. Eight turret slots cannot remedy this. Go sit down, do some math and actually look at more stats than just powergrid and high slots.
