Bomb Threat is one of the very few cards that have misprints in the first release (can't think of any others). Until the cards go for a second printing, all cards of this type will have the misprint. Once corrected prints start coming out, the original will most likely become a collectors item.
The details on Bomb Threat:
Core Set # 185/240 News Card Cost is 1 ISK

Edited by: Pherusa Plumosa on 20/11/2006 00:21:12 I thought it was normal that card numbers aren't printed on the cards, because I have two home regions where the card number isn't printed on. I only realized it while enlisting them into my excel-sheet ^^

I just assumed it had no cost to play, only cost to get rid of. Seems reasonable.

Those have their numbers printed in the foiled version strangely enough. Kinda funny if the regular ones get more valuable than the foiled ones at some point.

(digs through cards)
Hi
What about the rookie ships like the velator and ibis?
I have an ibis that says ship > frigate > scout and a velator that says ship > scout?

The Ibis' card type is also a misprint. It should read "Ship > Scout." Again, it will probably end up as a collector's item after a few sets. --- Zack Walters EVE: The Second Genesis Organized Play Coordinator CCP Games |

Oh cool! I used to have a shining Ibis with ship > frigate > scout on it I think, but I gave it to a friend.
I still have a regular one though.

Interesting. What does it say for cost on your "Bomb Threat" Hafthor?
Mine shows the cost of "1" although the font is entirely different then anything printed on any of the cards or in any print relating to the EVE CCG.
Reviewing the card I had the crazy impression that it was missed due to some odd classification of the card it's self. The uniqueness of it targeting player star base structures and functioning like a news was the only card i had come across that behaves this way.
the cost of "1" does not look like a 1. It looks more like a | then anything else.

I don't want "missprinted" cards, is there any place I can send them and get correct cards?

The misprints aren't due to printing errors, they're due to some layout oversights. All copies of those cards currently in existence are printed like that, but when they're reprinted as part of a later set (or once we need new stock of an existing set), they'll be corrected.
Hang onto those misprints, though. Once the game has been around a bit more, they'll start to accumulate some value. --- Zack Walters EVE: The Second Genesis Organized Play Coordinator White Wolf | CCP North America |

I can confirm that CCP is correcting the misprints. I've receive some boosters from the UK, and I've found an IBIS with SHIP>SCOUT, so CCP must have made a reprint a few weeks ago.
