Some good ideas in this game, IMO. But they said the engines are 5% ready. Infinite storyline, thats what I really miss from EVE actually. The agents thinks 5 missions/levels enought for 5ooo playes in empire... There are no really megacorporations and wilde scale rush in gates, 1o ships + guard, no trespassers, no transport carriers, military patrols seem only rare. But there is moving. I wach it so long time ago. What I really miss is missons based on the story line. There are few steps.
And the graphics, EVEs grapsh is good, but so much mini animations missed, like multiuser docks, unload/fill crago, repair, reprocess, shtation geometry and ligh options in the moving lighted caldari station. Some smaller bugs on the Hidden Stash mission. And I don't belive there is no money to support to desing some kind of AI the games what is rendereing realtime moving in the galaxy. Some fleet happening, some dialogs to told the world whats going on. Some writers... And anyway... I wait what will happend in the recently camped routes. May will be the power of trashunters come. And if there is an effort there can be cross-sharing of concept, and it helps to build some new features to all games. If not there will be a real race, couse real orbiting is a key of a space game... This is the insta soulution, and the rise of some way of intelligent skill, equipment, and ship based capacity of ways. A new dawn.
And yes if there is 2o+ ships in every single kind I will be glad... You see more variety, and more complex task ships. I can be image Scientific carriere size ships orbiting around starbsese, belonged to some megacorps. And more space objects around starbases. One time I imaged the simulation of the interstellar communications from deathspace objects. This calls for new pos types for back up, and hidden positions for communicating if the lines recently broken.
If anything happend in one of them, the interactive agents..., when I can say my option to why not... or choose from a list, and this and the agents personality generates the outcome... so there is a wilde space, till dynamics NPC events in faction based enviroments. No more wondering NPC, there are needs of massive storitelling investments in this world, where are fraction happenings, movements, buildings, and changing universe.
Do anyone ever see a starbase finish? Why not made this mission like a radiotelescope constructions, and the materials pooled in a complex record, and some animations of the starting>construction>last works>finish work on few weeks time? This made the world live...
