Hi
I dont know industry at all but I gave it a shot a while ago. Im still in 0.0 and wanted to earn some money by trying some t1 frigate production...
So I clicked factory and tried to install a punisher bpo a corp m8 had leant me so I could test this whole shabang out. I couldnt though... it wouldnt let me...My corpy asked me if I had any jobs "which I had". He left for work shortly after that so I could get no more advice from him
To cut a long story short I flew 39 jumps to take this BPO out I had stuck in the oven ages ago but when I got there I found it was a hostile station, whoopsy
(yes I realise it actually tells you who's station it is on the job description but hey I fancied a roadtrip)
My question is basicly who do I remove this job and get on with production at my new base of operations instead of getting told I may only use 1 factory slot at a timeYou have reached the limit of your abilities for running concurrent factory slots. (You are currently running 1 slots, and you can at most handle 1.)?

First of all, if you're new how come you get a forum face? I want a face too!
Anyway, you CAN still produce stuff. You simply need to train up the relevent skills. I'm not in EVE at the moment, but from memory its production managment or something like that.
Go to the skills section in your market. Look at Industry skills, and it'll be there.
On a side note, if the BPO remains in hostile territory, don't expect to get it back anytime soon. =P

Edited by: Matalino on 16/11/2006 15:27:49 For your immeadiate problem of needing to get back into manufaturing all you need to do is train Mass Production. That will allow you to have more than one job on the go.
As for getting your BPO and goods, I doubt it would be cost effective to try to buy temporary docking rights from the station owner as those tend to be expensive, so I would say you would be better off to get your corp mates together and lay seige to the station. If you conqure it you can charge the previous owners outragious fees for temporary docking rights to get their stuff out.

Supply Chain Management is the skill you're looking for. It will indeed let you remotely deliver jobs as well as begin them, so you can at the very least get your job slot back. Sounds like you'll have to sell the BPO on escrow or something though...
