Personally, I think the pic problem is unsolveable for some esoteric reason and CCP is using it to get rid of unwanted employees. Fix the forum char pics within a month or you're fired!

That said, it's incredible that it's taken this long. First it was that the new rendering machines were needed. Then they needed installing and setting up. Then T20 went as far to say he'd "probably be fired" if it wasn't sorted by Christmas. I doubt anyone took him seriously, but it was a statement that surely translated to "I'm pretty certain it'll be done by Christmas". Ah well. They'll come eventually.

Having a picutre seems to be a status symbol on the forums that says "hey, I know what I'm talking about because I have an avatar", that and the whole aesthetic of having a page full of "!" pictures looks sort of lame. t20, might want to start getting some Mountain Dew and No-Doze combinations lined up .

This char has 11mill SP and gaining Personaly I think the biggest issue with this is that we were informed that the hardware arrived months ago and noone did anything with it, then it was issue after issue and delay after delay, then T20 posted what he did and it's still not working, now none of it's working.. Thats just bad company policy, Staff, Mangement, or whatever. Working to posted timeframes is something that either you do or you get hassled by the boss. Last time I missed a deadline at work(Was BT's fault however) one of the offices was cut off for two weeks while BT sorted out the ADSL line.. I got chewed out, ranted, raved, and alomst sacked. I hope t20 gets the boot over it. personaly he should get a job he can do, Supermarkets are always looking for trolly parkers. Known Issues & Workarounds - The forum to fix the issues of Eve... Godhelp us if the Devs start trying to. Happy New Year..

So, guess you'll have to wait. I do not care much about the pics, but if I read something interesting or funny at the forums I'd like to recognize the char in-game, and pics help. So, It'll be nice to have the pictures. But I don't think it's an issue to fire some dev for. The CTD issue is more important, I belive, and I'm waiting for a definitive fix for that. Regards.

I would think the server would manage to render a good chunk of them from November (or whenever they onlined it) to January. So far it doesn't look like its managed to render any.
