Edited by: Tdaan Sczow on 18/11/2006 07:38:26 I just started a new character TODAY, and Evemon tells me that I'll get over 800k sp by 12/14. So if it comes out on the 28th I'll be only 2 weeks behind. Big deal, I'm not going to restart. If you started on the 12th then you have a week advantage on me so you're in an ever better position.
Edit: My bad, I just noticed you started in OCTOBER. Well, then you should be even more ahead of me. BTW, I didn't know that new players in Kali will start with an 8.0 standing with any faction of their choice. Hm.

Originally by: Grey Area But now we are seeing another facet whci hI must admit I did not envisage...it's not an OLD player complaining about the change, but a relatively NEW one. He feels let down because he bought just long enough before the new system for it to affect him, but not short enough before it for him to decide to retrain.
And you have a NEWER player in me that is not complaining at all. I could've easily a few weeks to start my character... but it doesn't matter enough. I'd rather spend more time playing than min-maxing.

Right, game knowledge is a VERY minor advantage. That's why winning in Eve has NOTHING to do with how intelligent you are and has EVERYTHING to do with how many skillpoints you have.

Originally by: Sir Howard I know theres alota people that have been playing for 2, 3 years that think all of us noobs are complaining too much "800k isnt that much deal with it". Well 800k is alot to me being a casual gamer, thats a over a month of my time and some of my money that I put into earning my 750k sp's.
Whether or not you're a casual gamer makes no difference, you learn skills at the same rate as a hardcore gamer.
