I am trying to figure out the relation (if any) between Loyalty points (gained it seems from doing missions), Agent Standing (gained it seems from doing missions), NPC Corporation/Faction Standings (Gained it seems from doing missions) and Player Corporation Standings (Gained it seems from something to do with Players doing missions)ą
My observations so far (these maybe all wrong and way off) are that the Loyalty points have little to do with the standings, they are just part of the mission rewards, that it is the mission itself (modified by skills, levels and quality) that affects the player's standing with the agent...
It is the players standing with the agents of an NPC Corporation/Faction that affects the players standing with that NPC group...
I also assume (and we know what assume does) that it is the total of the players in a Player Corporation and their standing with an NPC Corporation/Faction that affects the Player CorporationĘs standing with that Faction/NPC Corporation.
What this all leads to is that it takes multiple members of a Player Corporation running missions for an NPC Corporation to affect the Player CorporationĘs standings with that NPC Corporation, one player will have a really hard time affecting the CorporationĘs standings. Noob in training...

Corporation standings are based on a rough average of the members' standings, I believe.

The mission itself, the mission level, the agent's effective quality and the security status of the system the agent's based in, are the key factors for determining rewards.
One interesting point is that the NPC corp's standing is not an average of your standing to all the agents you've worked for of that corp.

Yup. If you want to check, show info on your corp, looking under the standings tab, liked by, then right click on a corp/faction entry in there and show composition.
It'll tell you who in your player corp is contributing to the corp's standing and how much they're contributing.
It's useful if you're trying as a corp to get jump clones and need to work out who's lagging behind.

It depends on how many people are contributing to the corp's standing. The more people that are contributing, the less of an effect a single player has.
Only people who have worked for the npc corp in question contribute to the player corp-npc corp standing.
