Hi,
I'm slowly increasing the my trading and industry characters and wanted to setup a basic corporation that allows them to all work from the same pool of funds, BPO's etc.
Despite being a member of numerous corps I have never set one up nor even looked at how to do it.
Based on the fact I want them sharing resources and purchasing/selling to the pool, what do I need to to?
Regards

Thanks. WIll train that now and see what happens.
Anything I should be aware of when setting up a corp or running it? Assuming ZERO outside characters. |

Yeah if you're in highsec people like us will wardec you either for the LoLs or because we have been paid to as you're eating into someone's profits with your business...most likely for the LoL's though.
There's a fair bit you can do about it e.I. scout yourself with an out of Corp alt ,drop and reform the Corp , higher other mercenaries to defend you(we do this from time to time).
Wardecs will generally only effect in space activities and only in highsec, they make little to no difference in low/nullsec or in wormholes.

Then they will all have full access to everything almost the same as the CEO.

Thanks all.
My pilots (probably an incorrect term given my next comment) are all station bound. In theory.... the should never see the outside of a station again.

That doesn't sound very fun at all. |

Well, given the amount of ISK they can generate it means I can have lots of fun |

my alts are all directors in a corp, I dump isk in the corp wallet from time to time, so they can go and do research or buy a skillbook without having to move money around all the time. I also have an office so they all have access to the same inventory. Office rents are dynamic depending on how many people have offices in that station. Jita 4-4 rents are over a billion per month currently, where some out of the way station is probably a few mil per month. It is also nice as I can bring up the industry window on any of my alts and it shows me all the jobs run for the corp.

additionally, I'd move all shares from the corp wallet into the CEO's wallet. If it is just you not such a big deal, but if you ever do involve someone else better to have thought of that before hand, as anyone with wallet access can take shares, and then bye bye corp.

Barrak Form separate unrelated corps for industrie and trade. Keep your haulers in npc corps. Keep the relevant profiles low and you won't have to bother about other players much.

My usual recommendations are:
1. Make an alt for the CEO position, so that if you want to leave your corp and join another player corp with your main character, you can (and your corp remains on your alt).
2. Have the CEO take all the shares that are created, move them to the CEO's personal wallet. It doesn't matter if it's only your alts, but if you eventually invite other people, that's a security vulnerability; whoever takes the shares can vote themselves CEO.
3. Between your main and the alts, feel free to play with the roles and hangar permissions; might as well learn the corp interface and what the roles do, and how you can be attacked / infiltrated.
4. Standings towards NPC corporations (from missions and FW) get averaged between your corp members who have non-0 values. It's thus possible to get high standings on one character and they'll inherit to your whole corp, after I believe 1 week.
5. War declarations are going to be an issue, especially if you set up POS'es. Figure out what you're going to do in case of war, and set up ships/supplies ahead of time, in case you lose ships to combat. |

Hadn't thought about standings before. That could be an issue as the alts are all traders and their fee's are standing sensitive.
WIll have to keep an eye on that in a weeks time. Might be that i have to create an Amarr/Caldari and a Gall/Minnie too..... |

Enjoy. The only one to have been targeted here (ncq&a) to my knowledge was nevil, and only then because he was shiteng up the place with obtuse poor trolling attempts.
I might be wrong , regardless though the op stated his alt Corp with be station bound so it's not like any of us can touch them.

Correct. This pilot won't be anywhere near them. Probably returning to WH space anytime soon |

(I've been thinking about doing something for SoE for Thera or for gal/min space, but cba.)

Well move the stock shares to your own wallet, just in case you do decide to invite an outside folk.
As for war decs - there are easy ways to respond other then fighting: blue ball them, move to the otherside of eve, go into a wh, etc. . .
probably the most fun way to generate war dec tears is take a character place him into an interceptor then go to a safe and burn full speed straight up, then go afk. It will drive them crazy as they try to probe you out.
I don't play, I just fourm warrior.
