I want to do missions with minmatar.
But what ship do I fly at what lvl?
And what would be better to have crystal or snake implants? |

Uh....What level missions? 4 I assume?
Navy phoon, Mael, vargur, sleip.
If you need to gain faction and start at 1 a loki actually blitz missions really really fast with webs. (1-3)...4's not quite as quick due to range.
Also many ships can be armor or shield tanked so implants can go either or. Though I assume with the booster buffs on many ships... |

Level3: Hurricane
Level 4: Maelstrom then Machariel
And if you need to ask, wait on the implant sets. |

Those implant sets cost 700-800m (for the low grade) and you need Cybernetics V.
What is best? Well depends if you wanna go fast or shield boost a lot :P |

Snakes don't nearly do as much for PvE as do Crystals. |

Crystals if your using BC's/BS's
Snakes if your using CR/BC's
Because ships like Loki's need the speed over tank for L4's

Well Im already up to lvl3's now so I was thinking to buy a Loki to blitz trough them and even use it with lvl4's. Mostly because In my current training plan BS aint a option for a while :P.
What kind of fit would I be looking for if Im going Loki style? |

Although Sleipner is better in every way except speed and a lot cheaper

This Maelstrom has a beast tank...and if you pimp it and train up gallente you can simply strip your mael to fit the mach

This. Sleip beats the Loki hands down and is at least competitive with a Maelstrom. Vargur and Machariel blow both out of the water.
And no, none of these require faction implants. I suppose you could work out a fit where you could drop to a safe three-slot tank (possibly two on the Vargur) with Crystals, but... yeah, it just isn't needed. |
