example: before: (1000 cap/1000 sec.)*2.5=2.5 cap/sec after: (1500 cap/1500 sec.)*2.5=2.5 cap/sec ---------------------------------

With skills:
before: (1250 cap/750 sec.)*2.5=4.166 cap/sec after: (1875 cap/1125 sec.)*2.5=4.166 cap/sec
So yes, as long as both are increased by 50% it will be the same.

That's an interesting nerf to Cap Boosters (which I think is a good thing, passive cap recharge is pathetic compared to a cap boosting ship)

This is a nerf to nosferatu, if you think about it.
Since Cap was boosted, but nosferatu remains the same. As such, it wont be as fight-breaking as it used to be.

I don't know much about the incoming nos nerfs but I dont beleive it would nerf the current nos, nos is used for its cap a second, so since they have more cap you would have nos on longer. So, in fact your actually helping nos because theyll have more cap for you to suck dry and sustain your own modules with.

Edited by: goodby4u on 25/11/2006 00:11:38 Yes it is the same,although now you have a larger amount of cap to work with,its like when fitting shield extenders,say in this case they are shield extenders that make your shield recharge slower,you still have more shield so the enemies damage will impact you less but after the battle you have to wait a long time for it to recharge.

Given that all caps are now 50% bigger, someone might want to poke tux with a spork and have him increase cap batteries by ATLEAST 50% otherwise nobody is ever going to fit them. The cap gain won't be worth it compared to a CPR or cap recharger.
