You did read and understand how the new gang system works yet?
Your post doesn't give enough info. Commander sits in a ship in your system, got the skills, is assigned, etc.?
If yes, did you sond in a bugreport instead of cluttering the general discussion forum with something useless that might have a place in the Revelations dev forum area? --*=*=*--

actually, squad commander has to be on the same grid now, so has to stay with the fleet for bonuses to be given.

you have answered your own question :) You dont always need gang bonuses when moving around/doing stuff.

Hi,
i tested it again with the same grid. There is no difference. The gang boni doesnt work anymore. Hm..
Is there another solution? Its a bug?

cant u just convert a 2 man gang to a fleet, 1 as FC 1 as a member of a squad and get gang bonus's Sig removed.\o/ It's great flying Amarr, ain't it? |

they'll need more info than that, what ship your in, what bonus your testing, are you the squad, wing or fleet commander etc, and yes submit as a bug report :)

On test last night the big fleet test gang worked great, I had a huge chunk of hp increase from the squad leader.

Gangs can be up to 50 people IIRC.
In order to get that in a fleet, you need 5 wing commanders who've trained up leadership 5 and probably a few other things. And one who's trained Squadron command. 's a lot of training, and will be a pain if you happen to not have the right skillset.

A group that either can't be bothered to set up the hierarchy (rapid response team f.ex.) or doesn't have enough people with the right skills. -----

They've left "gangs" (classic style) in, without bonuses, just to keep it accessible to people who havn't learned up the skills. Mr Noob A wants to run a mission with his friend, Mr Noob B, neither of them have a single leadership SP between them, isn't it nice they can still gang up (giving them warp-to-member, gang war, and their own chat window) just like they can now? Its not like they'll be geting any bonuses either way.
Imagine the outrage if CCP had announce "we're removing gangs altogether, you'll now need skills to do what you can do already for free". Options never hurt. -----------------------------------------------

i would imagine that at some point the default gang, with no skills, will be limited even further. There just need to be a window for players to train the skills.
