Wanted to share what I have learned in my c2 and what I am thinking about for the future of my wh life. A RL bud and I are living in a c2/ls/c2 currently, have been for the last month or so. Lost a few ships, killed a few ships. He is about to be a father and will be leaving Eve for a long daddy break, no idea when he will be coming back. I know I can carry on in the c2 solo. I am doing sites in an overtanked domi with sentries and I have two accounts so I watch my c2 static in a buzzard and it works well. I can run a c2 combat site in about 15-20 mins in the domi and its a quick 12-20 mill isk.
What I am thinking about doing is moving into a c3/ls hole since I think there are fair number of them around that may be empty. In the c3, if i move, my plan would be to run spider domis for the sites. I am fairly certain that is doable but my concern is isk/hour over the c2 sites versus the c3 sites and also do you folks think I am more likely to have my tower attacked in a c3 than a c2. Word on the street is the big boys or most other wh lifers donGÇÖt bother attacking small towers in c2s since they arenGÇÖt worth their time.
Thoughts?! Cheers.
ps - If anyone has any questions about c2 solo life I would be happy to answer them. |

Unless you are on bad terms with people, you'll generally be left alone in c1 through c4 space, minus the random stront check.
Reasons for evictions are random, but narrow. For the most part people aren't overly interested in c3 lowsec or nullsec.
Don't put more in there than you need.
Yaay!!!!

I would say that your Isk/Hour would be fine with 3 domis and higher than in the C2. I'm not saying it's the best set-up but there shouldn't be any factors that stop you from completing any of the sites.
As long as you don't talk some major **** it's very unlikely you're going to be evicted. Though I can imagine loneliness could set in pretty quick if you don't have some buddies to play with. Have you thought about joining/starting a corp? |

Basically this, and put your stuff(edit) in SMAs, if you leave a mess, someone might want to clean it up for you. Naturally that would be the good neighborly thing for other wormholers to do. Most people use c3s and c2s for the connections so at most you'll get traffic and the occasional cloaky hunter.
As for the spider domis:
If you've got 3 people to run spider domis, and really want a c3, get a c3 with a c4 static and maybe a lower class static. You can run all but one combat site with 3 RR domis, and if you're multiboxing it, then it's 10 minutes a site, 80 million a site average. |

If you have 3 pilots though imagine the isk/hour with 3 rattlesnakes. Drop some mobile depots and switch to full tank or full deeps depending on Aggro.
I've never tried it so I'm just blowing wind but in my imagination it works great. |

I will have two domis not three. :) Want to keep the risk vs reward low by using BSs. Two spider domis should be ok in c3 sites? |

If you are planning on staying 'solo', 2 domis or rattlesnakes can run most C4 sites with no problem, and you'll have some options for other wh classes to visit. I was solo in a c3 for awhile in an overtanked domi navy and never had issues, and when my friend would log on in the rare instances, 2x spider domis could do any c3 site and the data/relic sites. If you are feeling bold, some of the c5 sites are doable in a pair of rattlesnakes if you have decent skills. They run 200mil+ a site. |

mk im an RR fanboy. i used 2 RR domis in c3s for the longest time. it works perfect. i dont consider myself fast but i was finishing said sites in 8-9 mins and roughly 60-70 mil drops on the ground. 2 well fit domis u can perma run ur reppers and focus mostly on ur scouting.
i would advise you to not just start multiplying and counting ur isk, you still gotta salvage and u take in to account the randomness of wormholespace. This is why i think isk/hr is stupid.
Also i dont really need the need to move unless you intend on this pve being 90 percent what you do while on eve. Just like....scan and u find stuff to do. |

Swapping a C2 A-D for a C3 U210 is silly. You are swapping a D382 with 60%+ chance of highsec backdoor for slightly better ISK for each site, and that's it.
Remember, you make all your ISK in the static, so a A-D static C2 is basically two C2's stuck together as far as ISK in wormholes is concerned. Plus you can always go out the A239 into lowsec, hunt belts for clone soldiers, run 5/10's and 6/10's, Besieged Covert Research Facilities, gassing, etc.
I doubt you need to move - just adjust the way you make ISK to be more solo-friendly.

The worst part is being the only guy in system, Did that for nearly a year before Aharm, basicly became tedious and lonely. Its not conducive to playing the game long term, unless you have other reasons or goals to you wish to achieve.
Fueling pos(s), scanning all the sigs + scouting and all the logistics can get pretty ****** after awhile, If you have the time its fine.

Farm till you eyes bleed. Then move back to highsec and do PVE industry. |

I wouldn't recommend moving to a c3 by yourself for the reasons others have mentioned: you can just scan for stuff from your current home, being alone, etc. If PVE consisting of C3 sites is your main goal you will run out of sites to do very quickly in your own C3, due to your own site-running, and the people that will inevitably come into your hole to steal your sites. Being alone, you would probably have a tough time if any organized larger group came into your hole. So I would just stay where you are, or possibly join a corp with a C2-C3, or a C4-C3. |
