I'd rather be sat opposite the Pirates than Draconia. At least the pirates can demonstrate that they have the brain power to adapt to changes in Eve and judging from the content of their posts, I imagine I could have an amusing and engaging chat with them.
By comparison, I can't imagine getting much out of Draconia beyond "wah, wah, Eve isn't easy enough, wah, wah, I lose to smarter players."

WTZ was not meant to be a pirate nerf. It was just meant to eliminate the server load caused by Instas. CCP considering allowing Interdictors in Low Sec is evidence that they want pirate action to be allowed.
It suppose to take a group action to removed a dedicated pirate camp, otherwise what is the point of being a pirate? Or of having nonconsentual PvP outside of 0 space?

Yeah I had some of the better convos with them when I was camping the Jel gate in Egghelende in my Buzzard noting the tactics and such that they used to effectively bar access to the system on the JUMP IN side looooong before any of the changes happend to nerf the warp in side of camping.. As the adage goes, 'adapt or quit'.
"Pirates" are often the first to do so - necessity is the mother of invention and all.
Personally I've been trying to figure out what 'warp to zero' is going to do, and how to deal with the situations that arise. Not because i'm wanting to pirate, but because I want to be able to chase people who wardec my alliance in empire.
Uber sensor boosting a ship is one of the more obvious solutions.

Thoose kinds of camps have been aronud already, just rarer then sniperprats. If it becomes common pratice I'd guess lowsec gets less populated. I'am happy with this sort of camp, it puts the pirate at a heck more risk than 150km+ sniping possibly meaning a good team can move in and well, let the dancing begin =) I forsee huge amount of drakes camping gates... spreading fire and death.

tbh - this whole WTZ (especially in combination with i-stabs) is an escalation path.

This change was not made to populate lowsec or to make the playerbase feel safer.
This change was done simply to reduce the load caused by bookmarks.
The pirates have adapted, now you must too. Their method involves a lot of co-ordination and a degree of concerntration. It's not unfair for them to have the advantage in those circumstances.

Its just a reinvention of the JIP. It was ten times more lethal and completely fool proof. Its used pretty extensiveley it was just easier logistic wise to snipe. As one player can snipe.
Although jumping rat camps when they're sat on the gate is much easier. *-*-*-* How to avoid a ban.

So we are given free instas to every gate, pirates adapt and use a tactic involving several players in order to counter the change, and you have a problem?
Your posts are consistently lacking in useful content.

I thank those pirates for telling us how to get us, now to find the work around tee hee.
Instas, I could never ever get one made. Failed all the time. So Warp to 0 is a godsend for me.

as said above - its escalation.
If you shorten the amount of time the pirate have to react, they just bring bigger/faster guns.
this will be whined about in the future, and probably another change will be made to make the travellers safer - but its just going to make things more dangerous as pirates will again find a way to be even more effective.
Its a bad road to travel down.

You know if it wasnt for the guys in 0.0 complaining about that bombathron a while back it would probably be even less work popping ships.
im not sure how the hawk is setup but just fit your ships with 4 stabs and dont be a fool and use a shuttle.

Very smart. Now the Nidhoggur's bonus might see some use, especially now that a carrier can practically go AFK at a stargate with sentries attacking it. Not that sentries were any threat to a carrier to begin with, but now you don't have to pay as much attention. _________________________________________________________

Low sec generally isn't pirated by large gate camps - that's something seen in 0.0.
Low sec generally has the loser with his first new battleship, hanging over 100km off of a gate, waiting to snipe at anything that goes by that doesn't look like it could shoot back at him. He doesn't even recover the loot, because he's that much of a coward. Warp to zero will make his life miserable.
Don't make me laugh with these ubertactics.
