Looking at the new patch notes: Bob has spoken: the spawn rate and lifetime of some wormhole connections to Nullsec space have changed.
Can CCP please explain this in more detail? I hope you aren't ******* up the lifetime from 24hours... I hope you will be improving the spawn rate?? I am guessing peer pressure from jew bears in null-sec; eg: like corbex that wormholers attacking the innocent sheep?
Being a pro scanner & anal prober I want to see more null-sec wormhole spawns, but please remove frigate wormholes as so bloody pointless. I want more null-sec connections in wormhole & direct's in low & null.
What everyone think on this? & i'd want a response from CCP.

I always hope that CCP make maximum wormhole mass unknown , and varying in each wormhole +-25%. This calculated mass allowing precising ship jumps needed to close a wormhole is just nonsense.

Its definitely a reduction in spawn rate. They are trying to do it to stop nullsec power projection, but this won't stop it, I'm pretty dissapointed in our wormhole CSM that doesn't fight for wormholers. |

Additionally, some of the biggest blocs doing this were using the Flux Generator, so it could have been selectively fixed by nerfing those. |

You'd be right, except the quantum flux generators, though CCP assures us they technically work, don't actually confer any measurable benefit. They're worthless - blaming this on use of flux generators is a red herring. The only reason people are crying about projection through wormholes is because they're too lazy to invest the time and organizational effort to do it themselves, and would rather have CCP protect them than have to deal with it. |

Flux generators don't work... CCP please release statistics to say it does...
The null blocks started using wormholes mainly because of moi in TRI then NC. Where is our CSM rep for wormholes, AFK ratting in an ishtar?
Fozzie stop messing with our golden holes....

Yep. It takes five minutes to crush any unwanted wormhole. Only those groups who don't want to put any effort into closing them will be the ones cheering when this gets changed. |

I dont see the current null sec spawn rate as being bad or good it seems just right. I suppose groups could power project through wormholes but maybe Null sec groups could actually take a little time to learn how to roll a hole.
After all WH players have to deal with gate mechanics, stupid station games, low sec gate guns, etc.... why shouldnt K space players adapt a bit. |

CCP making changes to nullsec on the expense of wormholes yet again (I believe this is done to limit null secers using wormholes as highways across the galaxy). We shall see how bad it is i suppose, atleast c2 with static null will always exist.

What it will nerf is Hard Knocks, and Prolapse.
The former will kill less nullbear ratters.
The latter will die less to Wyverns dropped on us, and will additionally be less likely to escape deep nullsec via a wormhole exit.

I think I need to go get more popcorn, But if you want to dunk null bears all day, I have a few suggestions for you,
1) live in Thera 2) move to null sec 3) rage collapse for more null connections.
one of the above will give you what you want. |

I'd always assumed it was a red herring also, either because the effect of pulling wormholes in from elsewhere in the region was negligible in itself or because they used a very small separate pool.
I'd half believe that someone had found a way of min/maxxing whatever the underlying mechanic is though.
Quote:The only reason people are crying about projection through wormholes is because they're too lazy to invest the time and organizational effort to do it themselves, and would rather have CCP protect them than have to deal with it.
Just to be clear, I'd be against a reduction in the spawning rate, I haven't seen a huge number of people QQing about it either, so don't know why CCP would be changing anything anyway. |

Pff, the small line doesn't say anything, depending on what the actual stats are it could be good or bad. Is it an increase or decrease of spawnrate? Is it null to null only or what ever to null that is changing?
No local in null sec would fix everything!
