I figured this was a good place to post, since everywhere else I'll inevitably get spammed with mac hate. :)
Is anyone aware of an Eve API application (like Evemon) for mac? Even though my Google-fu is fairly strong, I couldn't really find anything except a way to jimmy-rig Evemon on a mac. I'd much rather have a native application.
(also, love the new forums. :)) |

There is only one native tool for mac that uses the Eve API. Its a skillplaner named Mac Eve Tools. But the development is stopped. But there are some updates for new Eve versions.
Here's the link to the old forums: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=1096971 |

I had found that thread previously, but the links to the .dmg are broken. :(
I'll see if I can find a download elsewhere, not holding my breath though. |

I take it by jimmy-rig, you mean you ran Evemon through X11?
If not I can PM you links to the version I use. It's a little on the ugly side, but does work well. Just need to install X11 from your OS install disc. |

Elroachio, I would appreciate those links, as well.
I attempted to use Evemon with X11; Evemon opened up, but as I started to select items, X11 decided to quit. I require assistance.

I'm interested in this info as well. The Jimmy-rigging I was referring to involved installing 3 or 4 programs in order to emulate windows. |

Any application written using java should be able to run on the mac. I know that there are one or two older java based fitting tools. but for now the only things reside with running evemon or evehq using wine or mono. |

Broken how? they work for me. Unless it's the Leopard link, that's busted. I've lost the DMG for that and I can't build a new one. |

Many thanks for posting these links, guys. Incredibly useful.
Any essential features/functionality missing in these programs? As a new player it's hard to tell.. |

As Flammard said, I've been well served by both these programs and there is nothing that I miss from using those two vice EveMON/EFT.
There is even some features from both softwares that I prefer over their traditional windows counterpart. |

Great. I did get EFT running through Crossover, but it was a bit of a mess. |
