We are too busy having fights to mention it. You know, actual, engaging combat where you dont sit in an ishtar fleet and press f1.
But yes, I am happy for the most part. I solo roam, bait, and make isk all at once. Why would i not be happy?
Highsec and null ppl are the most vocal (whiny) bunch. WH duders are pretty mild mostly. Unless CCP changes things without saying anything about it. CCP seems to hate 2 things equally. Caldari/missiles, and being transparent with Wormholers(?).

We don't care about SOV, we just pick a nice station and base out of it. No HP grinding or convoluted system that takes days to complete. If people already live in the station, we hellcamp them until they leave.
We don't care about "bad people" hanging around our area, we live with them every day around every corner because it is actually impossible to completely get rid of them. And since we don't have CONCORD, bubbles, or station lockout mechanisms we have to just shrug and adapt accordingly.
We don't care to much about nerfs to income sources or industry, many of us have to diversify our incomes because of the unstable nature of the place we live in.
We can log off for a week and still have access to our stuff.
We can flip off our CEOs and directors and not fear being abandoned and alone in a now hostile station in the middle of deep space.
Cause of YARRRRRRRR.
Cause the people who live in low-sec want to be in low-sec, because it is more "interesting" in terms of gameplay.

I can confirm that my first few forays to lowsec resulted in some combination of ass and wood.

Lowsec seems more endgamey to me than null ever did in terms of people with experience playing well at an individual level. There's a nice spread of vets and newbros with FW in the mix too. I really want to stick an alt into FW to give it a try but the standing penalties seem excessive.
Wouldn't hurt to have a few more medium sized groups around tho. The only problem with things atm is that the larger entities are frenemies. It's wierd not having really bitter adversaries but I suppose there's less need to manufacture a narrative to get people to fight when they move to an area mainly for combat content rather than farming.

I've been trying to get Marsha -10 for months, not bothered about that. Sec can be fixed reasonably easily but once you trash your faction standings it looks horrendous to correct. Thinking about it though, I've commited highsec alts to pure gameplay styles mainly by SP choices, so it's not the end of the world. I just resent doing it on combat alts.

2015: The Year of the Delete Key.
I fully expect CCP Larrikin to visit lowsec soon. He will no doubt disable the F1 button from all solo ships because they are not interacting enough. This will be shortly after he deletes Orbit and Approach from the game, rendering brawling frigates practically useless. But that doesn't matter because it will improve nullsec fleet gameplay by 1.4%.

Nobody talks about lowsec because:
- everybody used to talk about it to death back when it was being killed - finally dead, faction warfare livened it up a bit but in a different way - people who thrive there don't want to talk it up because then everybody and their min-maxing brother shows up
Just leave it be.

I feel like lowsec is the space where people really live together, unlike high and null, which are simply zones of isolations of varying degrees. There's an individual ignorance of highseccers, with groups of shared ignorance from corporations, and a more society-level of ignorance when it comes to alliances and nullsec.
In lowsec you can't ignore anyone, because everyone roams around freely and no organizations control space well enough to keep others out.
Fascinating!
So should I mine in lowsec instead?

Only thing you need to watch for is the High Sec / Low Sec gate camps but if you are hitting the gate, with a decent tank from behind them and tag into High Sec there isn't much they can do. (Also, it is great fun to grab a Null Sec fleet and chase the FW pigeons off)
I have yet to see this very empty Low Sec that you speak of. I have come across 1 or 2 empty systems very late at night during my time zone. It just means people need to sleep.
I do feel Low Sec is safer than High Sec. I'm not sure what has happened, but High Sec scares me now.
I doubt anyone wants to fight a huge blob. I think many of us prefer solo and small fleet warfare.
Oh, and to the other person. I haven't mined in Low Sec yet. I'm sure that could prove very interesting.
