While I understand that MTU's have a 0 or a 1 setup (aka no charge, or charge) profile in the way they work regarding their use that they just perform one action that is to collect from items in space, I was just thinking it might be interesting to see a change to the way these items behave in that you could tell them to ignore certain items for looting purposes.
An example could be if you are out jetcan mining with friends and you want to use an MTU to collect the wrecks loot but not effect the jetcan's that have been put out having a way to tell the MTU's to ignore these items would be an interesting help. While I am not certain if it would be possible to code this I thought it might make for an idea to look at. |

It would also be really nice if MTU's wouldn't suck in the smoking wrecks of their owner's former ship as well. The loot fairy is mean enough as it is, having to endure her tender ministrations a second time after cracking open the loot hoover is just cruel.
I'm not holding my breath.
Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

As a matter of fact, the Noctis is pretty much designed to do what you want, and the Orca has a nifty bonus to tractor beams.
EvE is hard. It's harder if you're stupid.
I couldn't have said it better.
Will troll for a t-shirt.

or you know you could have the orca for your mining op (or whoever is doing the hauling) drop hisMTU and warp back at 0 to the now waiting jetcan full of delish delish minerals... Without all the running around and being actually F"ing around with tractors and running around getting cans |

Ah, future space world problems. They already do the job of a subscriber that requires very few skillpoints. Sorting through lazily collected items is hardly a chore and, as mentioned above, also removes risk in the form of salvage ships and your/friend/alt presence.
That's right, its already a loss of human content. Boring hell content but free money/risk and excitement for noobs and vets alike. Its a familiar refrain from me, I know, but you and everyone else are the game and content and I can't support any kind of task better fulfilled by more bodies in space.
Unsupported
You are content to be content. This is not a jedi mind trick, you're just the game

Unsupported This.
There's constant whine of "lower the barrier for entry" and similar crap, only to be followed up by requests to rid the game of things, like this, best done by newbros.
