There any point to researching them?

At this rate PE time is meaningless, since you'll never be able to keep enough parts on hand to maintain constant production. ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic |

But it's still nice to finish your run in four hours instead of five. And it's not like those time efficiency slots are hard to find, and it's not like you don't have time to research the BPO up.

By the time people get enough components to build rigs in large supply you can easily get the bps to good ME and PE levels. Might as well, better then letting the BP just sit there.

I use the ME Calculator in the stickies above to test out different ME levels and pick the one that's optimal for me vs time spent researching. I seem to remember something about there being an optimum ME level for every bpo because if you research it farther you won't save any more minerals.
The ME Calc doesn't work with rigs cause they are too new. Can somebody explain to me how to wade through these numbers myself, and come up with the optimums for the rig bpos?
Thanks Krav =====

Divide the numbers the unresearched BPO by 1.1 so you know what their base is. Find the component with the biggest number after doing that. Divide that by five (round down). That is the highest effective ML.

I'd research perfect ME. collecting rig's components is a pain.

No one finds it odd that these t1 BPO's require skills to reseach were other t1 BPO's do not. Not that it matter to me know since I have trained the skill just to do research.
Yes I think ME would be good so you can do less salaging to produce a rig At least thats what I'm hopeing.
And PE is good for those of use that have not trained Mass production up I'm an ! I will always be an ! that is all I have to say |

Maybe I read it wrong somewhere, but I thought Invention is the only way to get tech II rigs - and the chances of inventing a tech II rig BPC are higher if you start with a better quality blueprint...
Maybe I got it wrong, but that's why we're researching our prints - not to save 4 or 5 fried circuits.
Cheers, Vyk.
