I'm used to ratting in 0.0, taking out normally 500k - 1m bounty rats, (the larger ones were worth less with isk/time ratio heh) but as a empire resident now, IĈm wondering what kind oh isk I can generate on average on level 3's. Any info is greatly appreciated.

Not going to find many level III missions that will generate as much as you can make ratting in 0.0. It's not imposssible though if you do enough of them. Find the highest level/qaulity kill agent you can use and go to work.
Once you you can use level 4 agents, you will find it much more profitable. I run level 4 missions for all my income and my wallet stays close to 7 figures on avg. The important thing is having fun. --------------------------------------------------

Depends what ships you have available. Use an 'overkill' ship (BS, HAC, Command Ship) and you can wipe out a fair few level 3s per hour. I did a bunch of level 3s in an Astarte recently - total overkill but if you can find a station with multiple agents it could work fairly well.
Domi is nice for this too - full rack of 250mm + drones = level 3 ownage.

L3+19 > Syndicate
Obviously the comparison tilts the other way if you use a different region, but you get the idea. A few million per hour with loot. In an evening of L3s in a Sacrilege, I could easily make 10m in ISK and another 10m in loot. Bear in mind an Extravaganza pays out 2.5m in bounties and can be completed in 30-60 minutes depending on how much you hurry, while missions against faction navies are timesinks.
Several 0.0 regions let you make more than this in an hour, but considering you don't have to bother with Local, TS or even responding to chat, it's not bad.

If you overkill with your ship (as listed above) then L3s can be decent income, but 4s simply blow that out of the water.
Don't know about 0.0 ratting though, yet to make it out there.
If you're on IE, pretend this is transparent while you get a better browser. |

See Lvl 3 as a requirement to the Lvl 4's, nothing else. |

....unless you get your hands to the new Blockade, wich netted me 6.3M ISK bounty plus 1.8 M ISK for the mission in about 50 mins in a HAC .....

"Course ther was one lvl 3 mission that dropped (2) +3 implants, or another one that dropped a 6 mil nanofiber thingy. Lots of things like 250 compressed coil guns etc, that if you sell them on the market and nice little cash flow develops. Find the right agents and isk can be made, not like mining high grade ore perhaps but still...

Im doing level 3's with a nos domi tank mainly using drones.
It can take about 30mins to do a mission and I would average about 2mil a mission, but that doesnt include the loot.
That also doesnt include the the rewards from Agent offers, nor does it include the storyline missions you get. so there is alot of possabilitys and the more you do the missions the more your standinds go up as does the mission reward/offers.
as a bit of a noob to level 3 missions I struggle sometimes, using that eve-info website which has all the missions details (like what resistances you need and what type of damage) is an absoloute god-send!
Of course you can increase this income by going low-sec.. but thats is far too risky now.

Most people are not very efficient EVE players, once you understand that you'll realize that the general rules don't apply to you if you are efficient.
Level 3's can be worth upwards of 10mil isk/hour. I used to pull in at least this much if not more. This accounted for LP's and even the 16th mission being a storyline. I timed myself for many days whenever i played and calculated my income for each time period and then divided it out.
If you're watching TV/doing other things you will make far less ISK. But if you grind level 3's in a good system with a good set of agents you can make a boatload of isk with near 0 risk.

Edited by: solarwinds on 06/12/2006 17:07:09 If you overkill for 0.0 ratting you can make great ISK/hour in a good system. Some of my favorite areas spawn several BS and other "extras" which put their value up around 3-5 mil per group plus loot. Got lucky once with several mulitple 1.55mil BS spawns in a system and chained them and made a fortune in a few hours. I worked it out to almost 500K ISK per minute while shooting. I spent 5 hours ratting and chaining my spawns and made over 100mil with so much loot I needed to have a carrier jump in and bring it back to station for me.
Just be sure to bring a can and fill it with ammo and masybe another two for loot, dump them in a midsafe with a bookmark and maste your day away.

WowzOr where these lvl3 missions in very low sec or something? my agent quality is pretty good in a 0.5 and my standings a pretty good also, I cant make this kinda money.. unless you are ultra fast at killing, maybe your using tech2 drones?..
I'd like to know more pls :)

10m/hour sounds do able to me on lvl 3's with a bs.
Ive just started on pimping out my raven, and i can reliably pull in about 7-8m/hour, before i consider loot + storylines.
The trick is to find multiple agents in one system, or even station, it gives you much more flexibility to run missions back to back, as well as flexibility to turn down unnattractive missions
Another important thing to do is to loot inteligently, 75% of rats rarely drop decent stuff, and are not worth the time, refitting for everymission can save you ALOT of time as well, its important to basically only fit as much tank as you need, and maximize gank power and type for each mission

Try Suvaere Oloere, L3+19 TransStellar Shipping in Kador Prime VIII - M1 (0.6 sec).
Quiet system, no lag, virtually no locals, no market. Hardly surprising, as it is a Gallentean agent deep in Amarr space.
However, if you have L3s memorized to the extent that you are doing aggro management, target management and running your tank while looting cans, always taking the most efficient route to the end, that's a 100% guaranteed ISK millions-per-hour agent. It may be tedious, but if you run one mission after another in what is essentially automated fashion, you will quickly get to +8.00 standing and make hundreds of millions of ISK.
There are others like him - Armant Britlarcier, L3+19 Material Acquisition in Cat VII - M4 (0.7 sec) springs to mind. Know the missions, know the market, loot the cans, sell the loot, get tax-free refine, reprocess the junk. The risk involved is essentially zero.

Yeah I hate to say it but I've started running lvl3s again, lvl4s while profitable were taking to long and costing to much in isk for ammo and equipment, I have a 19 quality lv 3 agent and the isk is decent. Get a drake, it does lvl3s in a semi unconscious mood, stupid easy.
