Australian Belt Strippers [AUBS] is a highsec/nullsec corporation based in the Domain and Providence regions. We are a GÇ£Real life comes firstGÇ¥ corporation and we are very newbie friendly (No trials required). Even though Australian Belt Strippers is our name we take part in mining, industry, PvE/Missions and PvP. We operate mainly in the Australian time zone (0700 - 1400 Eve time), however we are members of Apocalypse Now, an Alliance which has a 24/7 presence. Being a part of APOC alliance also brings some rules to the table. We run under the Providence NRDS (Not red don't shoot) which means we will only shoot at reds (however 90% of nullsec is red as well as thousands of other entities). We also require that players are willing to participate in Op days where the tax is 100% and all ore/isk made goes to the Corporation to fund our SRP and other expenses.
What can you expect as a member of AUBS?
- Real life comes first. If you have to do stuff in real life we understand.
- Very social and laid back Corp, however if it comes to the punch, we'll come packing.
- Active Australian and New Zealand group, however we will accept anyone from our prime time who wants to join :).
- Veterans of the game who are willing to train new players.
- We don't just strip belts, we participate in PvE, PvP and industry
- A very active alliance that is online 24/7
- Access to teamspeak to socialise with the corp and the alliance!
- Highsec and nullsec staging
- Sov. space to live with our alliance and alliance friends.
- Ship replacement program (SRP) for alliance PvP ops
- Daily fleets for all types of shenanigans.
- Access to Orca boosts in highsec and Rorqual boosts in nullsec.
What do we expect from members of AUBS?
- Active players who are willing to be social and play with the corp.
- Laid back relaxed players who are looking to have fun with members of the corp and have fun playing Eve
- Have access to teamspeak to talk with your fellow corpies and alliance mates.
- Participate in Corporate op days
- No concrete SP requirement, We'd rather a good bloke with 1 mil SP then someone who drags us down with 100 mil SP.
- Full API required to join
If this sounds like a corp you'd be interested in join the channel 'AUBS-Public' or Contact, Draksi Vonholle or 15070P3 for a chat!

One new member has joined us since posting! I am very excited to help a Newbro out. I think finding your place amongst the vast expanse of the Eve universe can be daunting, no worries here!

A 2007 study found that the average Australian walks about 900 miles a year. Another study found that Australians drink an average of 22 gallons of beer a year. That means, on average, Australians get about 41 miles per gallon. Not bad aye!
We are still accepting new applicants! |

I have made a silly mistake, I posted the incorrect chat channel for [AUBS] The correct channel is "AUBS Public" and not "AUBS-Pubic" Damn hyphens. My sincerest apologies for any of those I have misdirected. |

No new members today, worried, nope!
I created a Reddit recruitment post for us as well, we've had a few hits, and 1 member join us from that avenue. While I was trolling reddit I found this guy. He seemed to have a strange attachment to his API keys. If you are so worried about a corp looking into your background or sharing your details, you must have something to hide. I think you can keep your supers, you can keep your awesomeness. If you can't trust us with something as simple as an API key, you are not worth the effort. Trust, it's a two way street bro. Giving an API is the first step in building a relationship with a new group of capsuleers. Call me crazy, I don't think that an API key is all that special, and even if I were worried about people looking at my info, I'd just set the key to expire the next day. I guess the bottom line is that API checks are a standard part of joining any new corp/alliance. Anyone not willing to share is not worth being part of the corp.

Gday all. As a pilot who drifted in and out of various roles from indy, pve, manufacturing all the way to being a pirate for two and a half years finding AUBS is one of the best things that's happened since I came back to the game after breaking in 2010. Great people with a little bit of our typically Aussie sun-touched insanity.
Ive been in corp for close to 11 months now through some fairly significant events for this young corp and have no plans on leaving anytime soon. As one of the heavier pvpers in corp I am happy to help any new recruits who want to try out a bit of action and learn to fight.

Thank you Rexy for the glowing review! I hope you know that a big reason AUBS has prospered the way it has is because of your expert advice, and fleet commanding skills.
AUBS RECRUITING IS STILL OPEN, I would like to get 2-3 more capsuleers in this month! After which, recruiting will be closed to train our Newbros. |
