Has anyone managed to receive a contract sent to them using the new Contracts System?
I have made several attaempts to send stuff between alts, but every time I try I can se the contract from the sender but every attempt to receive it with the receiptant results in a message that no contracts were found.

You are searching for the wrong thing. Use the available contracts tab. The first tab is for viewing contracts that you have either issued, or already accepted.

Yep, use available contracts tab then in the drop down box select "me".

Edited by: Scorched on 13/12/2006 00:15:43 Skyee is right though - it simply does not work.
I'm a bit surprised at the two replies you got because one is clearly wrong, *private* contracts should show on the My Contracts tab, the other is for public contracts.
The second reply is explaining how to set the filters, but "me" is not an option. You can select your own name here but it does not help. And that is on the "My Contracts" tab, not "Available Contracts".
Transfering items between characters with escrow had to be a fairly common thing and with contracts it simply does not work (yes I have petioned it).
I was expecting to see more people complaining about it really.
Well, odd.

Max has it correct. The system does work and the descriptions are poor.
The target person (receiver) opens the "Available Contracts" tab, then selects 'Me' in the "View" window [instead of 'entire region' or whatever].
This will bring up a list of the Private Contracts that the current character is the target of. Right-click one to inspect and accept. The accept button is very small and on the left end of the bottom of the window.
I thought it was fubar, too.

Aha, sorry for sounding harsh I really thought I understood it and that it didnt work. That was a not-so-obvious way for it to work.
Thanks a lot and my apologies to the other posters.
At least it explains why other people didn't complain :-)

Caught me out too, I just told the guy selling the stuff what to do with it, 2 44 jump round trips and no sign of any contract, I followed above clarification and bingo got it.
I really dont like this new system as it is atm. needs a lot of finishing off.
