Here's a Signal Cartel EVE Online song parody celebrating a day in the life of an explorer. Based on the Tears for Fears song "Shout", which has been a favorite of mine since it was released in the 80s. (Yeah, I'm one of the far right 5% on CCP Quant's age graph.)
"Performed" by myself, Katia Sae, and El'Basin, with guest appearances by Mr. Mynxee and my RL dog Loki. Brilliantly edited and mixed by Luobote Kong with our most sincere thanks. Considering what we gave him to work with, the outcome is a miracle. None of us can really sing. Hooray for autotune and other musical wizardry!
It was a fun project to do, hope you enjoy it.

First the bad news:
- go back to mixing table. The mastering is almost unbareable. Vocals are too low, some instruments are WAY too high and thus the outcome is VERY difficult to hear.
- Difficult to hear vocals as non english speaking native beacause the previous point
Then the good news:
- Assuming that you guys have played it, it was played well, althought I didn't recognize the original song
- The singing was good enough, as soon as you get the mastering done better :)
- As much as I could understand of the lyrics based on the first bad news point, it was clever and fun lyrics!
- ALWAYS good to have more fanmade eve music! |
