Edited by: Sakura Nihil on 08/12/2006 05:39:42 Rig Spreadsheet v1.1
Above is the link to the rig calculator I just slaved on for awhile for the alliance as I was bored; what does it include?
- A database on all known rigs, according to the market with "show available" off, specifically the quantity and types of salvaged components they need to be built. - The ability to give you a price estimate of the rig based upon material cost. Input the values you want in the top row and simply drag down, and you'll get the updated prices of rigs in the top to the right of the database.
This is very basic, and quite crude in some areas, but it gives you a rough idea of what's needed to make them, and also allows you to figure out what you can build with your salvaged components with ease. I will release this freely to y'all to improve upon as you see fit, if you do distribute a modified version of mine I'd ask that you cite me as the original creator or something along those lines.
So, have fun, and pray that the patch coming soon will fix these horrendous potential prices .

Okay, yes, before you tell me, I know it doesn't work in Firefox. I'm looking for some free hosting for it since EVE-Files won't let me host XML (bless Chribba's heart), so hold tight.

Email the spreadsheet to Erfnam [at] eve-trade.com and I will host it for you. Alternatively, you can register for my corp's forum (in game) at http://www.eve-trade.com/forum/ and then you can attach the xls to a post.

For future reference, it's not the forums that are putting myeve.eve-online.com in front of your link, you need to have http:// so that our browsers know it's a link off-site. --

A few excel tips.
you can use F4 to lock a cell in a formula. so you don't have to have that stretch of prices. it can be done with 1 row of material prices. pressing f4 while that cell in a formula is selected, then a $ shows up in front of the letter and another in front of the number. that means that it is locked on both. if you drag formula to other cells it won't move.
Oh and your formula is broken on multiplying of the 'O' column.

Thanks to the author and thanks to the tip above. I reworked this sheet. I also added a volume column and a few other things.
