Give everyone a holiday ship they can redeem in any station they like, it can warp but can't leave its home system. It looks just like a Revelation dreadnought and has 3 high slots and a mid slot, with 3 mining laser hardpoints and a shield booster hardpoint. (So that's the only things it can fit.) It has 2175m3 cargohold and it's called 'Veldnaught'. So for instance the default name of mine unpackaged would be 'Reaver Glitterstim's Veldnaught'.

Larger but with smaller spikes than Phantasm
The Succubus looks meaner
But the Revenant cleaner
Seems as they get bigger, the smaller spikes they has'm

That would be very shiney 
Perhaps it should be smaller than the original so it can fit the undock tube. Would be even better if it was in ORE colors and perhaps some lore in the description

I like the idea. And yeah, in honor of Chribba, it would have to be smaller than an actual revelation he uses... in which case, why restrict it to any one system? ;) |

For posting an idea into F&I:
come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it.....
If your idea can be abused, it [u]WILL[/u] be.

Dude....its Friday (well in some parts of the world now).
this means in a few hours time it will be cluttered up with the same crap Fridays threads (same stuff rehashed again and again).
this actually something nice to see here. F & I usually a train wreck of crap starting Friday over the weekend. |

I'm actually serious about this, and am pleasantly surprised to see a lot of good ideas and refinements posted here.
Here's another idea: give everyone a mining frigate that looks like a Revelation, only frigate-sized and with overall stats similar to a Venture. It should fit 3 mining lasers, of course, with a larger ore hold but less mining output than the Venture, to be more similar to Chribba's Veldnaught. Actually come to think of it, a Venture outperforms that thing in both categories, unless Chribba has some cargo expanders on it.
I also like the idea of Chribba's Modified Mining Laser:
high slot, 4MW, 80Tf
activation cost: 60GJ
optimal range: 10.00km
duration: 60.00s
mining amount: 15m3
Veldspar mining modifier: 5x
So it'll mine like a civilian miner on most rocks, but on Veldspar or its variants it would mine 75m3 per cycle, or 25% faster than a T2 miner. On a battleship with 8 of these, it's still slower than a mining barge with 3 T2 strips using T2 Veldspar crystals even before factoring in skills. With max skills, a Hulk will mine 54.4% faster than the battleship with 8x Chribba's lasers. So it's not OP, just a little boost to one ore type.
