Although I see where you're coming from, these proposed changes (as well thought out and consistent they are) would definitely make me move away from Amarr ships as the lack of versatility is exactly what ****ed me off about them in the first place. I agree they don't need much more than the minimum in med slots (AB/MWD, scrambler, webber; even cap mods would be unnecessary if lasers finally got sane cap use) but if all I get from Amarr ships is laser boats with slight differences in the gank:tank ratio, count me out, it's already too much and killing auxiliary and missile slots would just make things worse (for me). Even Khanid Mk.II wouldn't fix the race for me as I'm not gonna sit things out till I can use a few versatile T2 ships.
I agree with the laser changes though, I always wondered what the heck were smoking when they "balanced" lasers by having insane fitting reqs and cap use, when we all know cap as ammo is one of the worst things you can do in prolonged combat. Of course they would still require the omni-tank issues being fixed (how, I dunno) and NOS being rebalanced.
Besides laser rebalancing and fixing the omni-tank/laser damage type issue, I want a secondary role besides laser+armor pewpewboat, not reduction to only the latter. Minmatar have all kinds of ships, Gallente have blasterboats (mostly viable as rail snipers as well) and drone carriers, Caldari have missile bricks and rail snipers, and already for Amarr there are few ships which do something besides stacking up on armor (-resists) and lasers, so forgive me if I can't agree with the idea of being reduced to armor-pewpew even more

Any valid points (very few) you have are instantly lost by your apparent need to pretend to be someone else to help your topic/points.
way to read way too much into this topic... seriously, WTF?
