Can someone tell me what the platinum insurance payout for a Naglfar is? Trying to decide if they are more expensive to use then a Vargur for C5 WHs. |

Bit of old(ish) data but:
Insurance Cost 456,913,272.00 Insurance Payout 1,523,044,240.00
So you get roughly 1bil back |

Never buy insurance in wormholes. Almost never get's used.
Instead: prepare as well as you can so you don't die in the first place. |

It's going to depend on where you park this Naglar. It's the most important part of the quote.

As soon as I get a Naglfar, I fully intend on it exploding at some point. If it survives until near the end of it's policy, then it would've made many times over it's cost and I'd go looking for trouble in it until it pops. |

So you'll looking at getting around half the initial investment back, thanks.

How much do you get for basic insurance? That is what you compare it to, and you will have the option of letting friends use it (or are they WH space coffins?)
EDIT: Looks like basic payout is 50% of platinum, so you get 761.522.120 isk without paying insurance (300m diffrence) |

Really? That's better than I thought. The Naglfar is running for around 2.5 bill atm + 700mill (estimate) for the Platinum Insurance for a 2.4 bill payout means only a 800 mill loss if you lose it in a WH. Hmm, it's basically equates to about the same as losing a Marauder so I'm guessing it's best to go with Dreads afterall.
Another question for you Lloyd. Can the Revelation do C5s Solo or are Naglfars hands down better? |

I won't be surprised if a rev manages to run solo. It can scrap together the same raw damage as a nag, roughly. The cap consumption shouldn't be that different from a moros, the guardians just die a lot slower. |

Dropping a rev in a sleeper site spawn 6 sleepless guardians. That's a lot of neuting power to fend off in a highly cap dependant ship. I'd try it in a shield rev in a pulsar or magnatar. Other than that I'd say it's not a good idea to try it solo. |
