So there I am, trying to save up for a Nyx and I think to myself, "self, there's got to be some good places to do missions."
Any suggestions? lol

Try Hophib system, its got a whole lot of Q20 lvl 4 agents. you can easily clear 100 to 150 mill per day if you include rewards, melted loot, salvage, LP offers and subtract the occasional ship lost to Pirates.

It would be quite usefull, if you wrote how many hours you spend. "per day" is somewhat unclear.

Seriously, this forum needs something such as Goodwin's law, just with the mentioning of ****s replaced with the mentioning (or implication) of noobs. Just so that these posts loose the thread.

I take it you disapprove of the question? Why?

Because most Non mission runners, ie Pvpers or non Carebears if you like, are dirt poor (earn a lot but spend it all on replacement ships and supporting their alliances/corps) and jealousy always looms when large amounts of easily earned isk are mentioned. Similar response can be seen when T2 Bpo's are mentioned.
And to answer the above question, I would say about 6 to 7 hours to earn around 100 mill from low sec mission running. I know others with more skills and better ships were doing far more than I.

It should also be noted that it takes more than isk to buy a Nyx.

When over a course of a couple weeks i can bring in 1b running lvl 4's (and not using a raven), leaves me to wonder why should go to 0.0 when i can sit in a 0.5 system, mining missions and doing them, with the help from teh corp once in a while. --- If i'm posting on the forums, it's mostly cause i'm at work :D

Well what the people ticked off at mission runners also need to realize is that not all mission runners are created equal, or rather not all of them can haul in nearly as much money.
At its best, sure, there's that whole "billions" bit.. but that could be said as well for the high end complex runners, traders, miners, and manufacturers.
Much like the demographic of the above "tradesmen", the bulk of us are not pulling in nearly as much. To use an example that's nigh off the charts is rather laughable.
If you can make so much money, kudos to you. You've found your niche and you can leave it *as you see fit*
