I just bought a Caracal, and I was wondering if for my second cruiser, would a Moa be any good?
I'd have to train up my drones and railguns, but the ship just looks so damn cool.

people moan about the Moa all the time - but when it comes down to it you wont find a better sniping cruiser than the Moa for caldari.
The cchange in Kali means more resistances as standard, which IMO makes it a good long range ship, and outstnading for missions.
Ive only ever seen one person fly it in PVP, and i dont know what he he uses it lie... but it is doable.

Moa is a great ship
Many people use the Caracal because its cheap and easy, but the Moa is much more durable and versatile if you ask me...

It's okay for some sort of support and a little DPS added to the gang, but don't expect to find yourself dishing as much DPS as many other cruisers can. Tricit's dreamy ship statistics. PICTURES SOON MAYBE!!! (NOT YET, but they are drawn) |

Cool??? Do you still have your beer goggles on from last night? The word you're looking for is 'fugly'.

With Dual 150 mm T2 rails , it is one of the best Anti support T1 cruisers imo. "Lord Samaiel, Rise "

I like the way the Moa looks. It's probably my favourite T1 cruiser in fact.

The moa is my number 1 choice for a PvP cruiser. It is like the Spanish Inquisition!

Any one week old trial account can afford and fit a Caracal well enough... for a Moa, you need tons of skills. Else you can't get enough PG/CPU to get any sort of reasonable fitting, and even if you do, you won't have the correct modules available.

What a worthless ship for any reason you'd actually fly a cruiser. If you're planning on any serious PvP then why are you in a cruiser in the first place... and for just about everything else the moa is mildly decent. It's a ship that has no purpose but can sorta fill any role which means it is nowhere near the best at anything. If you want to PvE the caracal is better, that's for sure. The Moa is a crappy ferox and the ferox is a crappy Rokh.

and then the Rokh is a crappy Megathron/Hyperion because it has no dmg bonus.
