I have a 6.3 standings with caldari.
If I create my own corp(it should have +6.3 with caldari too, I will be the only member) and I put a POS in 0.5 space. After getting the tower online my alt will join the corp and I make him CEO and leave.
(my alt has bad or no standings with caldari) will the POS remain? Will it still be online and i will be able to add/remove another modules ? Someone used this trick?

yes... that will work
please be aware that the corp will use your standing before connection for it's averaging.

if you get the alt in and deploy the POS within the same day it will work fine. be aware it takes time for your personal standings to be reflected in the corp standings.

could be, that you canrt anchor new modules when having not enough standing. onlining should work though. anyone knowing for sure?

once anchored and online you can do anything inside the field you wish regardless of standings.

How long does it take for the personal standings to be reflected in the corp standings? I have a 5+ standing with Minmatar, but others in my corp, who shall remain nameless, were bringing me down. I booted them. How long do I have to wait? Would it be shorter if I were to start a new corp?

We did this with my alt booted everyone from the corp. The first few days standings increased by about 1.00 the increase steadly droped till on the 3rd day the increase was about .3 but by then we had reached over 5 so could anchor.
basically its a silding scale the closer the corp standing gets to the average the smaller the increase if your standing is high enough should only take a few days unless you want to anchor in .7 or something.
Took us 3-4 days to get up over 5.

I'll toss a question in here. Would "standings for hire" work?
Have the CEO with no standings and hire someone with the needed standings to join the corp. After the corp standings rise to the needed level the CEO would then boot the "standings for hire" player.
Would the Corp standings drop at the same rate they went up?
As long as you do it that day before DT there would be no change to the corp standings so this would be no problem it would seem.

What you need to know is this:
Your personal standings won't count for the new corps average until you "kickstart" it. You need to do a storyline mission while in the new corp to have your faction standing count.
Also: its a slow process, the corps standings will slowly change towards the average (ie your personal standing, WITHOUT skills) over several downtimes.
Also i think currently there's a bug where corp standings arent updated during DT as it normally does...

So, I create a 1 man corp to put up an empire pos. Now, what if I want to move to a new corp and close out the old. Will the pos transfer over to the new corp or will I lose the pos if I do not take it down?

If you want the POS to remain yours you can:
* Create a research alt.
* Make alt join YOUR corp.
* Make alt the new CEO.
* Take your main to whatever...

If one member has no standing with a faction and the other has 6, will the corp end up with 3, or with 6 ??
ISTR that if a member has no standing at all then they dont count towards the corp standing

right
as soon as nobody starts missioning for a certain faction, those standing towards your corp will average out between nobody's poor standing and your high standing
