Is it ok to buy ISK over the Internet?

EDIT: However, it is legal to buy game time cards and sell them for ISK, which, essentially is the same thing as buying it, however the money goes to CCP and not some random farmer.

They screw the economy and various other things.

Doesn't CCP know which toons are "working" for these sites? These operations seem pretty slick and professional. How do they get away with it? Also, how do people get away with selling their characters? I know that certain complex-spamming alliances (can you say hello in Russian?) like to buy account complete with carriers so they can make more ISK to sell...

They try to get away, and when they're caught they're banned. I have yet to see a farmer carrying the site's link in their name or something like that. Farming and sweatshops are not against the Eula. Transferring characters is a service offered by ccp - for cash. The chars come with whatever they have (Isk, ships, standings, bad breath). Transferring accounts is not an option. If you get caught sharing an account, bye bye - with all accounts linked to your payment option being tainted. --==*-- The cause for this is not yet known, but we do have a possible fix in testing. by Sharkbait \| 2006.09.20

You have no idea how easy it is to camouflage ISK flow ingame... also, selling characters is allowed in the EULA.
