Ok... I am trying to figure out the type of Olive Drab BDU that the Air Group and enlisted crew memebers wear on BSG. They look like modifed old CF Uniforms(IE Buttons replaced with buckels) But the stiching and breast pockets look differnt. anyone have a better idea what BDU's they are using?
If your wondering why I an asking I am planning to goto the Scifi Convention in toronto next year dressed as a crew memeber if the Pegasus(I even have the Patch:P) Gah! |

If you watch the video blogs on SciFi's site, they have one on BSG's costumes and wardrobe (also one on props). Might be a good place to get some ideas. However, pretty much all of BSG's costumes were made in-house from raw fabrics, including the civilians'.
In-fact, after the Miniseries aired and they realized they would have to make more uniforms for the extended cast they ran into problems. Their previous fabric mill had gone out of business, along with their particular color of fabric used as a base for the uniforms. They had to hire out a separate mill to make a color that matched specially for them. Now they buy extra :p
