I am just wondering, why do these cuties yield suck a high price? I sold my stores yesterday and it really amazed me to get 1 mil per piece... They only seem to be used in one of the uber-rigs (cap recharge one) and there only 23 units. So why the high demand? What am I missing? I always had a surplus of those and considered them as useless as armor plates etc, while I always lack burned logics and tripped power, which go for much less. What gives? --------- ZOMG my sig was concordokkened! Link removed due to bad language on remote site. -wystler

And this two rigs are 100% more useful on 90% of setups then any other rig as they use litle calibration, are not stacking nerft and have no draw back.
PS: oh and i forgot only Blood and Sansha (and drones in realy low numbers) drop them.

Edited by: Leandro Salazar on 21/12/2006 09:12:54 Well yeah, but those rigs only need 23 each while they need 110ish BLC and TPC. And yet they go for 5+ times more than the more-needed parts which are also used for a lot of other useful rigs... So I guess it really must be the relative rarity because all the cattle run Caldari missions and don't get them? (They only drop from Blood it seems, at least my last two Sansha missions yielded none, got armor plates instead.) --------- ZOMG my sig was concordokkened! Edited by: TerrorWOLF on 21/12/2006 09:23:31 Cap amount rig nees 80 or something. Cap stuff allways have high price just look at Cap recharger II.
And circuits arent that much of a problem if you salvage BS, i have around 200 of the circuits in my hanger. Except fried used them up to bild rig.

yup i figured once the patch came out to make circuit boards drop more often - the other parts would rise in value as they would be harder to acquire - someone else pointed out that certain pirate factions drop parts that others do not whereas all circuit boards are dropped by all factions. For example i tend to do alot of gurista missions and hence i have never even seen a trigger salvage part (i think they are only dropped by angels). On a seperate note i have noticed that the price of rigs has begun to drop into less insane price brackets - 35m on market for some rigs now.....i sold a rig 2 days ago @35m some ppl in my corp thought i was stupid for selling it that cheap but the fact is i sold my rig whereas the other ppl selling shield rigs for 60-70m+ are still waiting for a sale.......

Funny that, considering I just sold an EM shield for 55 mill and a Purger for 70 mill. Looks like you gave someone a nice discount. Give me my damn picture already! |

they are rat specific, so much more rare than the circuits.

yup hence prices of none circuit board parts should rise in line with demand / rarity of part

They drop not from Sanshas. And the space that has Blood is controlled by BoB and they keep it all by themselfs because they need it for their titan crash haxploits.
Just kidding, true is that this space is indeed controlled by BoB but they are not at home atm. At least not many of them and thus there are loads of unkilled fat Blood BS in the belts. And unkilled Bloods wont give any rig stuff.
The whole drop table for rigs is borked. We will end up with loads of rig materials nobody is ever going to use rendering those materials worthless.

Sadly I have yet to see even one of these and need them. Though my agent hasn't sent me to go deal with either Sansha's or Blood in a long time. Plus the rats in the belts near my home system are all Angel/Dom.
Really wish they'd spread out the different types of salvage a bit more. Don't want them to be common, but least a chance at getting some.

works a bit like this - they drop in amarr space and amarr blood missions ( now if u look at the map 60% of the player base within empire are up north in gurista space) so therefore in a way this will encourage peeps back to amarr space if not prices will remain high so now might be a good time to play aorund in amarr and resell in calderi space where the producers are
