Thunderbolts corporation announces today a stance of impartial neutrality to the major empires and would like to emphasis how continued free trade between the empires contributes to the stability and economic prosperity of all regions. We will not be supporting any factions, the Gallente Federation included. This is a departure from a misguided policy forced upon Thunderbolts by the Cyrene Initiative.

As discussed in private conversations, the Patriot Pact ceases hostilities with Thunderbolts thanks to this message.
Originally Thunderbolts were declared on for being part of the Cyrene Initiative, with that aiding various members who claimed to support the Gallente Federation.
Now that it is clear Thunderbolts will not support the Gallente Federation, we feel no need to continue this war, despite our difference in opinion about free trade.

I am quite curious, what is this misguided policy that forced your departure from the alliance?

It is good that the T-bolts got out of this war, we never intended for your corporation to be involved in it. Our apologies for dragging you into it Xelif.
And Ms. Doyle, the policy at question was accepted by all other corporations within CYI, we hold nothing against the T-Bolts for not accepting it and hope very much for good relations in the future.

The policy at question was actually CYI's supportive stance of the Gallente Federation, something we had felt was unwise but did not believe was very important. However, CYI parted ways with Thunderbolts due to various other issues, some of them as yet unknown to us and none worthy of being discussed in public.

So, you're saying the alliance removed your corporation for some unknown reasons?

It would seem the original communication says it all in plain english, they have a policy of neutrality to all factions, cyrene directly supports a faction, thunderbolts left cyrene in order to maintain neutrality to all factions. Sure there may be other reasons, but simply put, the core Corp philosophy was not compatible with one of the objectives of cyrene. All that aside, it's good to see all parties involved here have supported Thunderbolts in their endevour.

Your impartial neutrality is noted and accepted. May you succeed with your future endeavors outside the Federation's support structure.

As the official spokesman of CYI said they did not leave the alliance. They were removed from the alliance for entirely different reasons than the who supports who and which Faction.
Just wishing to clarify some misconceptions.
