Look at all the roleplayers crying!! Good nerf CCP, make high sec even more boring for outlaws (-10), force them into low sec to meet the real pirates.
I see this nerf as more content for low sec, so happy days.

Your complete ignorance of piracy aside, your post is a fine example of cluelessness, topped with an obvious desire to play not-Eve.

It's like care bears and EVE players speak two completely different languages that happen to share many identical words. The unfortunate result being that we just constantly end up insulting each other.

It wasn't a rant, someone asked (not you) for other ideas which might not be close to codies' hearts, so I provided some. Nothing ranty there. I don't remember us discussing these things personally, but they have been discussed across several similar threads (on freighter ganking and its logic/lack of) so excuse me for not providing you with all the arguments for and against since that would take way too much time to compile and present in a short form. As for wreck popping, don't think I've boasted about it without reason (codies complaining). Interestingly, it is usually codies who point that wreck popping is broken due to low wreck EHP (no surprises there).
The "cost" of delivering that 500 HP is way cheaper than even a throwaway in a cat.

Legitimatly I thint think this change is not going to do anything except 1) raise the numbers in the gank fleet or 2) make the ganks take hours
tho if 2 is the outcome you have to wonder if griefing will come into play or not as IMHO 1-3 players Wasting hours of another players time would definatly qualify |

Simply quoting for truth. Real pirates go where the fat targets are, and that is beyond a shadow of doubt in highsec. |

Just like anyone who is being pointed, you can log off or self destruct if you don't like it. The difference with being bumped in highsec is that it requires constant attention on the part of the bumper, it's easier to escape and any help you bring is at minimal risk. |

Impossible? Certainly not impossible? I'd call it a challenge, as it should be. Certainly it shouldn't be an easy thing to pirate, certainly not as easy as it was to hyperdunk a freighter. Clearly there was an imbalance of risk and reward, which has been justifiably addressed.
Maybe if you got out of the safety of high sec and used the amount of effort you put into avoiding the predictable responses of concord into hunting targets in low security space. Maybe, just maybe you'll be surprised how rewarding low sec piracy can be.

I don't know. I mean owning highsec is pretty rewarding in itself as is knowing you are doing the Saviour's work. And that is not to mention all that loot that falls out of those overloaded haulers like candy from a pi+Ķata at a child's birthday.
Lowsec is more of place I vacation. When I need a break from the hustle and bustle of enforcing the Code, I can head there for some lazy, consequence-free PvP where I don't have to worry about CONCORD or the New Order paperwork after a PvP fight. It's a nice place to visit, but with so much work left to be done in highsec one can't really lollygag about there all the time engaging in self-indulgent, easy-mode PvP for fun.
Highsec isn't going to save itself.

HiSec for content can eators is piracy on hard mode. LoSec is easy for a pirate, but the with much smaller rewards.
Risk vs reward seems to be working well.
