Before I start don't even start on my ship idea. You try taking away from my ideas its no different than taking the butter from the dog dish and putting it in the microwave.

This idea will give Rookie pilots something to work towards in their eventual move Null and Low Sec. This is idea is meant to ensure Rookie Retention Quotas are filled.
First the Light Sub-Capitals would be able to be deployed in - 0.0 to .7 sec space. This will give the Rookie Pilot a lot of options early on in their careers of how they want to advance into Null and Low.
Secondly the Light Sub-Capital would have modules that could only be used in certain sec space where all of the modules could be used without restriction in 0.0 and below.
Now for the important stuff.
The Light Sub Cap would roughly be about half the size of a Breadnaught
Structure HP - 125,000 Capacity - 1000 m3 Mass - 550,000,000 kg Volume - 7,000,000,000 m3 (500,000 m3 pkg) Inertia Modifier

Either way, new players have every ship in eve to train for, so I don't see how adding more improves the experience.

Point of clarification:
When people say "sub-capital" they mean smaller than or below capital ships - i.e. rookie ships through to battleships. To say "light sub-caps" Makes me scratch my head and wonder if you're talking about half-size frigates, cruisers etc.
If you mean lighter versions of capital ships, then just 'light caps' is what you want to say, sub capital =/= capital
You should have enough control over your herd of cats to make them understand. If they constantly make misstakes, get better cats.

Or..... we could just increase the base EHP of battleships significantly. And you have this already, as well as Battleships worth flying. Currently their EHP is too close to the other classes and they don't offer significant tactical advantages in most scenarios. Increasing their base EHP massively will increase time to kill, without changing their overall active tank ability making them have something standing out from the rest of the sub caps to make up for their downsides. |

i think that the TS means a smaller starting capital ship, i am not by definition against it but not before all ships and modules are re balanced till then i say no to all new ships specially T3 or smaller capital ships after that we can discuss a new ship

Wow such an idea again. Well, I +1, but most people seem to not like it for some reasons. I'd even be happy for this ship without 5 geckos, jump drive or x-l guns. |

It's a SUB cap. Sure sure it can do all the things that BOTH dreads and carriers do, but it has few EHP so it's ok. It's a stepping stone. Please don't miss that it would be the 'foot in the door' for capitals in HS.
I'd put 3 on the niarja gate. 1 in dread mode to pop anything I felt like. 1 in carrier mode to keep anything I wanted alive. One in Gecko mode to wonk anthing too small to pop w/ the dread guns. Add a few EAF for painting, damping, scramming and it's all good. The only thing left for me to do is get 100+ war decs to ensure enough casual slaughter. With a corp of 30 active pilots I could curb stomp the 3 HS bottlenecks.
Don't get me started on HS POS and POCO bashing. I'd just fleet up 20 guys and commence OPERATION WOODCHIPPER and shred everything.
The only thing missing from this idea is T2 resists and perhaps some mode swap button so I only need 2 instead of 3 to gate camp bottlenecks effectively. |

-1 this is one of the worst ideas I have ever seen posted around here. Because cap ships is not what prevents new players from venturing into low and nul.
