I'm sure most of you have heard that story that came out a week or so ago. The ones about Fedos feasting on putrefying corpses in some unknown and rarely-seen corner of a station.
Well, I don't want to say that those Zombie Fedos are coming for you, but I've been hearing really messed up sounds somewhere in my Retriever class barge while under regular operating hours.
It's bad enough that our operations take place in low security and in wormhole space, which makes us keep our guards up at all times under the haunting orange lights, low hum of lasers and machinery crunching ore, and thin metal walkways of the retriever, which gives it a very unusual paranormal feel. And now the few crewmen and I have to worry about strange sounds throughout the ship's ore conduits.
We've found droppings of some kind throughout the ship which is leading us to believe come from a Fedo. Everyone, including myself, are afraid of what could be lurking about. We don't really have the capabilities of defensing the inside of our barge, let alone the outside of it, and I am extremely vulnerable while In Pod during normal operating hours. So the possibility of being attacked by a rabid pack of Zombie Fedos is something that is becoming very real as the days go by and the strange sounds increase.
I will be sending a corporation memo relaying instructions and steps to take for safety. |

You underestimate the resilience of our dropsuits, Ser Osyn. They are made to be expendable and barely provide protection against common firearms.
Against an onslaught of undead Fedo, nothing short of a Sentinel Dropsuit would last a minute. |

Since they don't die could you imagine an horde of zombified Foley Jone's? Horrifying isn't it.
As for dropsuits..... they provide moderate protection from modern small arms. Anything short of the weapons designed for the 8'5 tall super soldiers is as more to bounce off the heavy personal shielding and armour plate than pierce it. |

I've been deployed on the field, Ser Askariin, much like Ser Jones. With the rampant spread of Officer Issued weaponry, describing the protection a dropsuit provides as "moderate" is a gross overstatement.
Against an horde of flesh eating undead Fedos, you might as well be wearing paper armor. As for an horde of undead infantry soldiers... Spirits help us if that were ever the case. How does one stop double immortal soldiers? |

Obtain platinum insurance. Undock. Plot a course to the nearest star. Eject at .5AU. Write the ship off as a loss.

I'm quite sure you'd be safe inside your pod. Maybe it would be wise to equip your crew with some High-Tech Small Arms, though.

My slaves take good enough care of my ship not to fear such things. Perhaps if you are cleaning your ship according to Matari standards, then yes, it would be a good idea to remain watchful. |

Of course you start hearing mess up sound in your Retriever. Fedos aren't known for being quiet.
And fedos don't turn into zombies, and even if they do, they won't act any differently from a non-zombified fedo due to a distinct lack of cognitive ability. It sounds more like your crew needs to chin up, and you need to establish SOP and update crew gear to ensure your crew doesn't get stuck in a vent somewhere and then starve to death.
On that note, get a bio-scanner and look for anyone who got stuck in the vents. I am sure you got a bunch of crew or stowaways stuck in your vents.
